Zelda Tears of the Kingdom – To The Kingdom of Hyrule quest explained

To The Kingdom of Hyrule is the main quest you’ll unlock after completing the opening events of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom on Great Sky Island.

As the quest title suggests, it will allow you to take your first steps in Hyrule in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. This involves visiting a new location called Lookout Landing and meeting Purah.

It’s a good idea to complete this quest before you start exploring Hyrule properly, as it will unlock another main quest, Crisis at Hyrule Castle.

To the Kingdom of Hyrule in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom explained

While you’re now free to explore Hyrule in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, we recommend completing the Into the Kingdom of Hyrule main quests and the Crisis at Hyrule Castle opening first. This is because these quests need to be completed to unlock a number of important features, and without them you won’t be able to explore Hyrule properly.

Your first port of call is Lookout Landing, which is located on the edge of the ruined city of Hyrule Castle. To get to Lookout Landing, you need to head towards Hyrule Castle. The castle is not easy to miss because it floats and is surrounded by red smoke.

Head towards this tower to find Lookout Landing.

Along the way, you will encounter Bokoblins that you can defeat to obtain materials and weapons. There will also be plenty of building materials, which you can use to build a vehicle if you prefer a faster means of transportation.

Upon reaching Lookout Landing, you will meet Robbie, who will tell you to go talk to Purah. She can be found on the second floor of the building with the telescope pointed at Hyrule Castle. Talk to Josha once you’re there and Purah will come out to meet you.

After talking to Purah, To The Kingdom of Hyrule will be completed and the main quest Crisis at Hyrule Castle will start automatically. As mentioned above, we also recommend completing the initial mission Crisis at Hyrule Castle before exploring Hyrule properly, as it will unlock some important features, such as paragliding.
