- Gujarat Titans is a new franchise of the Indian Premier League and is based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.
- GT debuted in the 2022 IPL and ended up winning his first IPL tournament. Former Mumbai Indians star and explosive all-rounder Hardik Pandya is the captain of GT. The team also reached the final of IPL 2023 and topped the points table.
- GT was one of the two franchises auctioned in 2021. Many companies were competing for the franchise, but CVC Capital Partners won the rights with a bid of Rs 5,625 million (US$700 million).

Gujarat Titans in IPL
Gujarat Titans surprised everyone by finishing on top of the points table in IPL 2022 and qualifying for the playoffs. It was a new team with new players and with Hardik Pandya as captain for the first time.
Nobody expected GT to reach the final, much less win it. GT defeated Rajasthan Royals in the final. The team is also looking to repeat the feat in the 16th season of IPL.
