Where to find Nilotpala Lotus locations in Genshin Impact

Nilotpala Lotus is a plant that you can find floating above the beautiful rivers and lakes of Sumeru and that you will need to ascend some Genshin Impact characters.

Genshin Impact 3.0 introduced both the Dendro element and the five-star bow-wielding character, Tighnari. One of its ascension materials is the Nilotpala Lotus, so if you want to increase its power, you will need these flowers.

To make sure you can max out this powerful character as quickly as possible, this guide covers everything you need to know about how you can use Nilotpala Lotus and where you can find Nilotpala Lotus.

What is the Nilotpala Lotus used for in Genshin Impact?

Nilotpala Lotus is a type of flower found above water throughout the Sumeru region, even underground. It is a beautiful flower found between four water lilies and often grows in small, spaced clusters.

All you need to do to collect these flowers is go up and interact with the Nilotpala Lotus and, voila, it’s all yours. It’s also a good job because, since many of these are in water, you’ll have to watch your stamina to avoid drowning while swimming.

As it stands, Nilotpala Lotus’s only use is to promote Tighnari, but since she’s Dendro’s first five-star character aside from the main character, it’s worth swimming a bit to get them.

Version 4.1 is coming! With it comes the debut of Neuvillette and Wriothesley, but in the meantime, in version 4.0, our Fontaine guide can help you with the reputation of Fontaine and the Fountain of Lucine, and you can also redeem new codes for Primogems if you want Lyney, and check it out in our tier list. To upgrade Lyney, you will need a lot of Rainbow Rose and Lynette requires Lumidouce Bell. You’ll also need luck from the Pity and 50/50 systems to wish them fate and future banners, and you’ll always need the correct adventure rank for events. Elsewhere, we have beginner tips and tricks, Dendroculus locations, fishing locations, and TCG card locations.

Where to find the Nilotpala lotus in Genshin Impact

Finding the Nilotpala Lotus in Genshin Impact will allow you to travel through the Sumeru region.

The first place on your farming tour should be north of Sumeru City.

If you have already unlocked the teleport point at the top of the Chatrakam Cave, then head there. From here, you can find three Nilotpala Lotus to the northwest around a small island, five to the northeast around the Alcazarzaray Palace, and a large group of them just north of the city of Sumeru.

After that, return to Sumeru City and go down the river to the southeast to find three more Nilotpala Lotuses to collect.

Next up is the area south of Vimara Village, which is just south of Sumeru City. Swim south and you’ll find two Nilotpala Lotuses after a small ridge, and then a group of eight south of that.

From here, head east on Devantaka Mountain, where you’ll find seven more flowers to collect in small clusters deep in the swampy area.

Next is a group of two east of Sumeru City, just below the area that has yet to be revealed once you have activated all the Statues of the Seven.

The last group of Nilotpala Lotus can be found in the southwest of the region, near the Dahri Ruins.

This one is strange, because you’ll actually have to go underground to find them. Head to the exclamation point on the map below and you will find a tunnel leading down. Follow it to find a small underground area where you can collect four more Nilotpala Lotuses for your trouble.

Good luck hunting every Nilotpala lotus!
