The Warzone New Threats Intel Missions are a set of objectives within the Battle Royale mode of Modern Warfare.
Released towards the end of Season 5, they allow you to find items on the map as you play by following a series of clues.
Completing each will reward you with XP, giving you a boost toward completing your Season 5 Battle Pass.

Warzone New threats Intel Missions and their locations
The following “New Threats” challenges were released on September 23, 2020.
As with previous locations in Fractured Intel, Hunting the Enemy, Hidden Cargo, New Perspectives, The Lost Team, Old Wounds, and Sins of the Father, each Intel step must be completed in sequence.
You can find it within the Challenges area of the Warzone menu, then tab to the end to find these objectives:
Remember that these must be done in Warzone matches; any will do, be it regular Battle Royale, Plunder, etc. If you’re having a hard time grabbing certain items because the areas are so crowded (after all, Intel locations are the same for everyone), try landing near the location and waiting a few minutes before moving.
Alternatively, play until you enter the Gulag and use that second appearance in the match to pay a visit (assuming you win, of course).
Additionally, you can only complete one Intel per game. So continue playing, lose intentionally, or simply quit to start another match and the next objective.
Warzone New Threats Intel Location 1 – Find the location in the message Ghost sent you
For the first New Threats objective, you are given the clue “Find the location in the message Ghost sent you” and the following image for 2500 XP:
To complete this, head to the farmland area; This is the location named on the east side of the map.
Head to the northwestmost group of buildings, closest to the road, where there are three windmills on the north side. You want to focus on the most south/west.
Travel to the westernmost building here and investigate the sandbags on the southeast side, where there is some information.
Warzone New Threats Intel 2 Location: ARM 3-1 Left Information at a Camp
For the next New Threats objective, you are given the clue “ARM 3-1 left information at a camp…” and the following image for 5000 XP:
To complete this, go just north of the stadium. This is where you will find a campsite on top of a rocky outcrop.
The Intel notice should be easily visible as you approach the camp.
Warzone New Threats Intel location 3: Z and Perseus wanted more power
For the next New Threats objective, you are given the clue “Z and Perseus wanted more power” and the following image for 5000 XP:
To complete this, head to the dam at the northwest corner of the map. Specifically, you need to head to the large building at the base.
Go inside and in the back corner is a room with a bank of control panels.
Look for Intel on the corner desk near the door.
Warzone New Threats Intel Location 4: Sketch Could Provide Monumental Clue
For the next New Threats objective, you are given the clue “A sketch could provide a monumental clue…” and the following image for 5,000 XP:
To complete this, head to the Park, the area at the southern end of the map.
On the south side, near the coast, there is a spiral structure that you can climb.
At the base of this, on the outer north side, is a plaque. The information is here.
Warzone New Threats Intel 5 Location: Find Backup Power Source
For the next New Threats objective, you are given the clue “Find the backup power source…” and the following image for 5000 XP:
To complete this, return to the Park and again to the side of the spiral structure to the south. This time, enter the southwest shipping container and investigate the TV in the corner for information.
Warzone New Threats Intel 6 Location: Power is being redirected from a nearby bunker
For the next New Threats objective, you are given the clue “Energy is being siphoned from a nearby bunker…” and the following image for 5000 XP:
To complete this, return to the park once again. This time, you need to enter the bunker, which is just to the southeast, between the spiral structure and the road.
To enter the bunker, you must enter the following access code on the keypad on the side:
If no message appears on the keypad and the door simply opens… then someone else beat you to the door. Be on your guard! If this keeps happening (this bunker is a very popular place after all), hide safely nearby for a few minutes and then enter when it has (hopefully) been cleared.

Once inside, go down the stairs and turn left into the red-lit hallway.
Now investigate the console just ahead of the latest new threats from Intel.
Once this is done, the new Intel threats are complete. There’s a final track that hints at a deeper story: “A Threat Reveals.”
