Flint is a resource that is generated around the world, specifically near bodies of water, such as coastlines and ponds.
Look for rocks on the shore and in shallow water and you will probably find flint ready to be picked up.
Flint is longer and flatter than stone, and although stone can also appear around water, you are much more likely to find flint anywhere it is a little wet.
Be careful of the Necks nearby, which are a low-level enemy that can spawn around the water. While they’re easy enough to tackle on their own, they often appear in groups and can overwhelm you if you’re careful.
If you die, remember that resources generate quite quickly, so on the way back to collect your belongings, keep an eye on the shore for more flint to clear.
What is flint used for in Valheim?
Flint mainly comes into play once you’ve built the workbench.
