Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 has a wide variety of skaters to experiment with on skate tours.
This selection of characters includes hidden secret skaters and those you create personally using the Create-A-Skater mode. You can also unlock multiple outfits for each skater to wear.

Skaters in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 Explained
Skaters are the characters you can play as in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater.
You can change skaters whenever you want, allowing you to experiment with different skate styles. Each character has their own strengths and weaknesses when skateboarding, from how long they can balance on a rail to their overall speed, and you can improve these skills by accumulating experience points.
Since all of these skaters can be played in any of the modes available in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater, you don’t have to worry about losing the progress you’ve made in developing any of these characters.
You can also unlock a variety of new outfits and skateboards for each skater to wear and use.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2: Skater List
If you purchase the standard edition of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater, you will be able to choose from 21 skaters from the start of the game. This number increases to 22 if you have purchased the deluxe edition.
Aside from the skaters above, there are two additional characters you can unlock.

Secret skaters in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 explained
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater wouldn’t be a true Tony Hawk game if there weren’t a couple of secret skaters waiting to be discovered.
Secret Skaters are characters that can only be unlocked and played as if you managed to complete one or more specific challenges in the game. Once you’ve accomplished this, you’ll be able to play as these skaters whenever you want.
One of these secret skaters even looks like a certain actor.
So far, we only know of two secret skaters that appear in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 and these are:
How to unlock skater outfits in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2
With exceptions, each skater in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater has two outfits that can be unlocked by completing two different challenges while playing with them; The exact challenges you need to complete depend on the character you want to unlock outfits for.
There are three different sets of outfit challenges available and each set consists of two individual challenges, with each skater being assigned to a specific outfit.
It is important to note that you must have game mods disabled if you want to complete most of these challenges. The only skaters who don’t have outfit challenges are the secret skaters and The Ripper, which is a deluxe exclusive edition.

Deluxe Edition owners should also know that the Tony Hawk, Steve Caballero, and Rodney Mullen retro costumes are automatically unlocked when you start the game, so you don’t need to complete any challenges to receive these costumes.

Create-A-Skater mode in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 explained
Create-A-Skater mode does exactly what the name suggests: it allows you to create a skater that you can play as in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater.
You can decide the skater’s appearance, skating style, stance, pushing style and their ability with each skater skill.
You can decide the appearance of your skater.
The in-game store will allow you to further customize this character by offering you a selection of new clothing items, skateboards and other accessories, such as tattoos and wheels.
You can purchase new items for your custom skater.
You can have a maximum of four Create-A-Skater characters at a time, and if you want to create a new one when this limit is reached, you will have to delete one of your previous skaters.
It’s definitely worth spending the time creating your own skater, because there are a selection of challenges that only Create-A-Skater characters can complete.
Exclusive Skaters and Outfits in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 Deluxe Edition Explained
If you purchase the deluxe edition of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2, you will receive an exclusive skater and three outfits along with the game.
The exclusive skater you will receive is The Ripper. This skeleton is inspired by the skateboards created by Powell-Peralta.
