How to become a werewolf in The Sims 4
There are a variety of different ways to become a werewolf in The Sims 4, the full list is as follows:

Create a SIM
This is the easiest way to create a werewolf Sim, simply because all you need to do is choose that you want to be an Occult Sim, select werewolf and now you will be able to choose what your werewolf will look like, right down to the color of their fur, the shape of his ears and his face. You are born to a werewolf Sim
You know how that specific saying goes. “When two werewolf lovers get together and decide to have a baby… it is very likely that that baby will become a werewolf once they reach the stage of adolescence.” In fact, when a Sim born to werewolf parents reaches the adolescent era of their life, they will likely adapt the werewolf trait, similar to how it works with vampires.
You ask to be turned into a werewolf with the Cursed Bite skill.
Like vampires, some werewolves have the Cursed Bite ability. These bites infect Sims with Werebies, the dreaded disease that will eventually turn you into a werewolf. However, only powerful werewolves have this ability and if you want them to consider turning you, you will have to make sure they are at least friends, otherwise they will reject you.
Once you have been given the Cursed Bite, your Sim will contract Werebies. This will cause Sims to go through three different stages before transforming into a werewolf. The first is the bite itself, which will fill your Sim with anger, the next is general discomfort and will make your Sim feel uncomfortable and foam at the mouth. Next comes hunger, which means your Sims’ needs will decrease much faster than before. In the end, all of this leads to a transformation, in which your Sim will become enraged.
Your exploration leads you to being bitten/scratched by a werewolf.
This is very similar to being bitten by a werewolf with the Cursed Bite ability, however, for this to happen you must explore the underground tunnels near the community lot, The Grimtooth Bar and Bunker.
Once explored, there will be several different options for players to choose from: some will lead to the discovery of an investigation, others will lead to a fight, etc. In order for players to get bitten/scratched, they will have to keep exploring until they get it. the option of going down a tunnel where they hear grunts. Do so and your Sim will end up in a fight with a werewolf and contract the Werebies virus.
What each variation of becoming a werewolf has in common is that you will first have to transform into a werewolf and manage not to scare each other to grant you the latent ability to transform between your human and werewolf forms at will. Below you will learn more about latent abilities and their relationship to the things you should do as a werewolf.
But how do you actively transform into a werewolf for the first time? Well, that has to do with Fury.
What is fury in The Sims 4 Werewolves?
For Sims to change into their werewolf form for the first time, they must first embrace their fury: a hungry rage that runs deep within every werewolf’s blood and is what pushes them over the edge to become a raging beast. without sense.
This rage is called Fury, and each tic of the Werewolf Sims that causes them to lose control is different.
During our preview of the game, we created two werewolf Sims, each with their own fury. A werewolf Sim would lose control every time he slept at night because it simply wasn’t the right time to sleep. However, our other Sim didn’t like to feel uncomfortable at any time and would take things much more personally if they felt embarrassed or uncomfortable, thus increasing his fury.
Another way we discovered that helped raise Fury was by doing werewolf things, like breaking or scratching furniture. Giving in to any type of bestial nature through interactions (usually indicated with a werewolf symbol) often led to increased rage.
As the Sim’s rage increases, he will begin to show the effects of his rage through a red aura that follows him everywhere. They will also become more emotional and it will be easier to get angry. Over time, his eyes will turn red and once they reach his full fury, he will transform into a werewolf.
During these Furies, werewolf Sims will be unable to do anything except rage. One of the best ways to prevent them from doing anything that will negatively affect your relationship with others is to lock them in a room where they won’t be able to do anything except scratch and break things. It’s expensive, but it’s worth it.
How to Level Up Werewolf Rank in The Sims 4
There are a lot of interesting things about being a werewolf in The Sims 4, but unfortunately the really good things are hidden behind the levels. Which means that yes, you guessed it, you need to “level up” your werewolf Sim in order to move up the ranks and get more skills from the skill tree.
There are five ranges in general:
- Rank 1 – Puppy
- Rank 2 – Dwarf
- Rank 3: Prime
- Rank 4: Veteran
- Rank 5 – Apex
There are several different ways to do just that. The easiest (and simplest) way to do this is by interacting with other werewolves in Moonwood Mill. There’s plenty to interact with, and werewolf leaders (like Kristopher Volkov of the werewolf pack, The Moonwood Collective) are the source. easier to go to for more information. - The Werewolf Menace: You are happy to scare others like a werewolf and you don’t feel guilty. Scaring other Sims makes you feel more playful.
- Transformation Mastery: You locked yourself in during an episode of Fury and gained understanding. Once you have managed not to scare anyone while in Fury as a Werewolf, you will be able to unlock this ability to transform at will.
How to cure Werebies in The Sims 4
For some reason, sometimes you may not want to become a werewolf. Unfortunately, once you’ve caught the Werebies, you’ll have very little time before completing the transformation, becoming a Werewolf.
However, we have discovered that there are two ways to cure Werebies. One depends on chance, while the other ensures that those Werebies are a thing of the past:
- Sweat the Werebies: The next time your Sim goes to sleep, there is a unique interaction when you click on your bed that says “Sweat the Werebies Out.” This option doesn’t always work compared to the next one, but there is a chance that your Sim will be cured.
- Ask for the remedy at The Grimtooth Bar and Bunker – Head to this specific bar in the Moonwood Mill neighborhood and ask the bartender for a ‘Werebies Remedy’. It will be given to you and you will be cured.
Other things you need to know about werewolves in The Sims 4
Here are six facts you should know about werewolves in The Sims 4:
- Your Sim is guaranteed to possess the werewolf gene if born to two werewolves, however, there is a problem: they can have the gene, but you can also skip them. This makes it likely that if your Sim gives birth, the child will also have the werewolf gene.
- Werewolves can teach toddlers, children, and pets to howl through social interaction traits. However, to do this they must maintain a friendly relationship.
