Story of Seasons Seaside Cottage: How to unlock the seaside cottage in Friends of Mineral Town explained

Seaside Cottage is one of three additional houses you can unlock or purchase in Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town.

These additional cottages act exactly like the farm, allowing you to check the calendar and sleep in a bed, and Seaside Cottage has the added bonus of being next to the beach.

In the original GBA version of Friends of Mineral Town, Seaside Cottage could only be unlocked if you managed to earn 50 connection stars by linking the game to Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life on the GameCube.

How to Unlock Seaside Cottage in Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town

To unlock Seaside Cottage in Friends of Mineral Town, you must sacrifice 150 gifts to the Harvest Goddess.

This means that for 150 days, that is, every day for five seasons, you must visit The Spring and throw a gift into the water. Admittedly, this is a long time, but if you keep going like this, you will eventually get your free real estate.

Each gallery can have its own title.

Once you have reached the 150 gift milestone, the Harvest Goddess will tell you that, in gratitude for your devotion, she built you a small house in Mineral Beach. The house will be available to you the moment you read this message, so head to the beach to see your new home.

Seaside Cabin in Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town

Seaside Cottage is located on a pontoon at the southern end of Mineral Beach.

Inside you will find a table, a clock, a calendar, an agenda, a bed and an original painting. The bed will allow you to spend the night in the cabin and wake up there the next day.

It’s important to note that while you can stay overnight at the cabin, your family cannot, meaning it’s impossible to permanently change your primary home. However, Seaside Cottage is useful if you need to spend the night away from your farm.
