Story of Seasons A Wonderful Life Nami Heart Events

Nami is the introverted traveler staying at the Lei-Over Inn and the most difficult bachelorette to marry in Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life.

You’ll have to visit the excavation site if you want to win Nami’s heart because, unlike the other bachelorettes in Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life, she doesn’t like the old flowers you pick up off the ground. No, she prefers the less traditional type of gift, so it’s a good idea to know Nami’s preferred gifts before trying to romance her.

To help you win Nami’s heart, we’ve covered all of the Nami’s Heart events in Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life below, along with the time and location of Nami’s diary.

Nami Heart events in Story of Seasons A Wonderful Life

Below we review when, where, and at what heart level you must be to witness the events of Nami’s heart in Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life. Some of the cardiac events also have additional criteria that you must meet to witness them.

Keep in mind that you don’t need to experience all of these heart events to marry Nami, but seeing them will help you understand her history in Forgotten Valley. If you want to know how to marry Nami without them, check out our marriage guide.

Your initial friendship and heart levels with Nami.

Several of them include dialogue options, and when they occur, we suggest dialogue options that will increase your heart level with Nami. It is also important to note that we found that events typically occur the day after the required heart level has been reached.

Introduction Cardiac event

  • Heart level: no heart required
  • Time: after 10 am (we witness at 10:01 am)
  • Climate – Any
  • How to Unlock: Walk past the Lei-Over Inn
  • Other criteria: Gary and Nina must be outside.

It should be noted that we watched this scene after we had spoken to Nami for the first time to make sure it was included in the Resident Information menu. You may find that you witness this scene before you talk to her for the first time.

You can watch this scene on your first day at the farm, as it acts as an introduction to Nami’s character. There are no dialogue options during the episode, and the scene focuses on Nami’s habit of walking through the valley.

Two hearts event

  • Heart level: at least two hearts
  • Hours: 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Sunny weather
  • How to Unlock – Leave the Farm
  • Other Criteria: Must have seen the introductory cardiac event.

To witness this Heart Event, leave your farm for as long as it can trigger, and you’ll find Nami exploring your farm.

When prompted, select the dialog option – Okay! Enjoy the farm.

Four hearts event

  • Heart level: at least four hearts
  • Time – 7 pm
  • Climate – Any
  • How to Unlock: Enter the Bluebird Café
  • Other Criteria: Must have watched the Two Heart event. Nami, Molly and Gavin need to be at the Cafe.

You must make sure Nami, Molly, and Gavin are inside the cafe for this heart scene to trigger. Keep an eye out for Nami’s location and visit the cafe at night when you do. Luckily, we saw this scene the day after watching her Two Heart Event.

You also have a number of dialog options and to get started select ‘Can I take this spot?’

Continue with ‘Why did you come to Forgotten Valley?’ and then ‘Oh, that’s great.’

Then choose ‘I try not to think about it!’ since, in our experience, this is the answer that Nami will see most favorably.

There is one last dialogue option, but since Nami is no longer here, it won’t affect her heart level. However, it may affect your wallet since choosing “I’ll cover it” will pay Nami’s bill at the cafeteria.

Six Hearts Event

  • Heart level: at least six hearts
  • Hours: 8 am to 10 am
  • Sunny weather
  • How to unlock: be inside your farm
  • Other Criteria: Must have seen the four hearts event.

We unlocked this heart event simply by being inside the farm when it was 8am on a sunny day. Also, it had only stopped raining an hour ago, so if you’re having trouble triggering this scene, just waste some time inside after you wake up in the morning.

In this event, Tei and Lou visit your house in search of Nami, and if you want to witness the full scene, you must select a dialogue option. The correct option is: I will look for it too.

If you do not select this option, you will not be able to advance with the rest of the scene. Time will advance three hours after this scene ends.

Eight Hearts Event

  • Heart level: at least eight hearts
  • Time: shortly after 6 am
  • Climate – Any
  • How to Unlock: Enter Lei-Over Inn
  • Other Criteria: You must have seen the Six Heart event and both Nami and Tei must be inside the Lei-Over Inn.

We managed to unlock this Heart Event by heading directly to the Lei-Over Inn upon waking up the day after reaching eight Hearts with Nami. We recommend trying this method, as it can be quite difficult to get Nami and Tei to the inn at the same time.

During this heart event, you will see a conversation between Nami and Tei. There is a dialogue option right at the end of the scene and you must select “Of course!”. No problem!’

Nine Hearts Event

  • Heart level: at least nine hearts
  • Time: 4 to 8 p.m.
  • Climate: sunny during winter
  • How to Unlock: Enter Lei-Over Inn
  • Other Criteria: You must have seen the Eight Hearts event and both Nami and Tei must be inside the Lei-Over Inn.

This is the last cardiac event you will have with Nami other than proposing to her and it can be very difficult to witness since it can only occur in winter. We also ended up staying until 12:50 a.m. to watch it.

We also had Nami in the pink part of the friendship level meter, so if you meet the requirements above and the event hasn’t happened yet, continue befriending Nami!

This is the Friendship and Heart Level we had with Nami to see this event.

Upon entering the inn, Tei will greet you, and while you have two dialogue options, we recommend choosing “I came to see Nami.”

You will then get a second dialogue option towards the end of the scene and here you will need to choose “Stay at my house Nami”.

It is important to note that if you witness this scene, the game will consider you to be engaged to Nami. You can still give her the Blue Feather, and if you don’t, you’ll get the alternative proposal at the end of chapter one, but you won’t be able to witness any Heart Events with other marriage candidates from this point on.

Proposal event

If you want to propose to Nami using the Blue Feather, then she needs to have at least eight hearts. Once you have reached this heart level, offer her the Blue Feather and then confirm that you wish to marry her.

If you want to know how to get the Blue Feather, visit our marriage candidates guide for Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life.

Nami can also be an option for the alternate proposal that happens at the end of Chapter One if you haven’t given anyone the Blue Feather. She needs to have at least five hearts to appear as an option in this scene, so if you want to take this route, we recommend that you still spend time raising her heart level.

Nami’s gifts in Story of Seasons A Wonderful Life

If you want to marry Nami in Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life, then you must win her heart by giving her gifts and talking to her every day.

Here are some of her favorite gifts to help raise her heart level and friendship level:

  • Clay figurine and leaf fossil from excavation site
  • Blue Flower Trick: It Only Grows in Fall
  • Home cooking. Easy-to-do options include:
    • Dairy soup: requires one milk
    • Herbal Soup: Requires an aromatic herb

Nami likes artifacts from the dig site and home-cooked meals.

It should be noted that we have only listed the artifacts from the dig site that Nami likes in Year One since, if you want to marry her, these will be the only ones available. As the game progresses and the dig site grows, more artifacts will become available.

Remember: you can give Nami more than one gift per day, but they cannot be of the same type. So if you already gave him a clay figurine, for example, you can’t give him a leaf fossil that day since the game considers them the same type of gift.

You can also increase your Friendship Level and Heart Level by watching the fireworks with Nami on Summer Day 2 between 6 pm and 11 pm, as long as it is not raining. Just make sure to compliment Charlie and Cole’s work instead of hers!

Nami has one of the least strict schedules of all the characters in Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life. He often changes the place he visits and the time from day to day, and the weather, day number and season sometimes also influence what he does.

Location of Nami’s diary in Story of Seasons A Wonderful Life

While the new version of Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life lets you easily track all of your friendship levels from the Resident Information menu, you might prefer to take the old route and snoop through Nami’s diary to find out how much she likes you.

However, getting to Nami’s diary is a bit difficult since it’s hidden in her room at the Lei-Over Inn, which you can only enter when she’s inside. To get an idea of when she’s home, check out our section on Nami’s schedule.

Once you’re inside his room, investigate the table with the radio to find his journal. Just make sure you’re standing in front of the part of the table where the notebook is and not the radio!
