Starfield Almagest casino location and jackpot combination explained

The Starfield Casino is actually a star station called The Almagest. It’s not too far from Alpha Centauri, so you can visit the star system it’s in at the start of the story if you feel like it. The inhabitants of Almagest are low-level enemies and are fairly easy to defeat with lower-level weapons.

In reality, the Casino itself is abandoned and no longer operating, but the Spacers have taken it over. As with much of the exploration in Starfield, you’ll have to make your way through them in order to safely look around the entire star station. Which you might want to do, since there’s a Jackpot Vault waiting for you.

Without further ado, we are here to show you the Casino location in Starfield and how to open the Jackpot Vault.

Starfield Almagest Casino Location

The Almagest Casino can be found orbiting the planet Nesoi in the Olympus System. The Olympus system is southeast of Alpha Centauri and south of the Cheyenne system.

The Casino itself is inside the Almagest star station, so you will have to dock your ship there before you can enter.

How to open the Jackpot Vault in the Abandoned Casino in Starfield

To open the Jackpot Vault in the Abandoned Starfield Casino, you must remove the spacers and then find a vault combination. Oh, and there’s no gravity on the star station either.

Once you’ve eliminated all the spacers, head to the manager’s office. This is a room just below the main entrance walkway that you used to enter the Casino.

Here you will find a large storage box and the administrator’s computer. Loot the box if you want, there are usually some good items here and there are some safes built into the wall opposite the computer. You can open the safes to access them, but you will need to upgrade your Security skill to be able to open all three. Each of them is a master, a beginner and an advanced level.

When you are ready, access the administrator’s computer and enter the ‘Jackpot Combination’ file. This reveals the combination to open the large safe located in another part of the casino.

Starfield Jackpot combination explained

The Jackpot combination in Starfield is 12, 19, 36 and 5. Now that you have the Jackpot combination, it’s time to find the vault in the abandoned casino.

To find the Jackpot Vault in the abandoned casino, exit directly from the manager’s office and look down. You should see a large vault door embedded in the wall below you.

Look towards the vault door and then look to the right, you should see a small opening. Head this way and then climb through the hole in the ceiling. This will take you to another small room with a computer.

Access the computer and enter the Jackpot combination of 12, 19, 36 and 5.

Your reward is 3700 credits. We know, we know, it’s not a lot of credits to go in there, hack a computer, and deal with the spacers, but there’s something you might want to get from the vault besides money.

There is a contraband box in front of the background computer containing four Sentient AI adapters and four harvested organs. If you take the contraband items and want to sell them, we recommend heading to the Trade Authority store in The Den in the Wolf System.

Additionally, once you’ve eliminated the spacers, you can loot their remains and spend time collecting the items left floating around the Almagest.
