Doing all the optional attractions at Coney Island in Spider-Man 2 may seem like a waste of time, and it may be tempting to skip this task to advance the story. Choosing to do this task or not has no impact on the overall story, but we recommend doing it if you have the time, as it gives you some sweet and comedic moments between the characters.
As you progress through the story of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, you can switch between playing as Peter Parker and Miles Morales. Two Spider-Men equals double the crime-fighting fun, but a sinister plot is soon revealed. As a crime-fighting duo, it’s up to you to save some unexpected victims of this plot.
Without further ado, we’re here to explain whether you should take the optional Coney Island rides in Spider-Man 2 and the reward for choosing to take them.

How to do all the optional rides at Coney Island in Spider-Man 2
While participating in the ‘A Second Chance’ story mission in Spider-Man 2, you’ll be in Coney Island as Peter with MJ and Harry! Here, you will first be tasked with playing the Hydro Bench and then you will be tasked with riding the Speed Demon.
Before riding the Speed Demon, however, you have the opportunity to participate in several optional rides around Coney Island. If you complete all the attractions listed, you will get a fancy prize. Stay away from Speed Demon – if you use this one you’ll miss out on doing the others.
You can locate the attractions by looking for the blue outlined icons on your screen:

Here is a list of all the optional trips you must take to get your prize:
- Ride the time tornado
- Play Swish Swish
- Play Knock Them Down
- Play to test your love
- Ride the flying mantis
- Riding the Octoruro
- Play Hydra’s top hitter
Approach each attraction on the list and play/ride them to cross them off the list. When you have done them all you can collect your prize!
Rewards for taking all optional Coney Island rides in Spider-Man 2
Once you’ve ridden all of the optional attractions at Coney Island in Spider-Man 2, you can head to one of Coney Island’s two prize booths to collect your reward. Remember, don’t ride Speed Demon yet or you will lose your prize.
When you arrive at the prize booth, these are the four reward options offered. You can only select one of them:

Once you’ve decided on your prize, you’ll wear it for the rest of your time at Coney Island and your companions will join in.
