How to start The Ends of the Earth in Red Dead Redemption 2

To begin this Stranger quest, you’ll need to have cleared Chapter 1. Once you’ve set up camp at Horseshoe Overlook, you can find the quest giver by heading west and keeping an eye out for smoke. in the sky.

This is actually a good way to locate strangers in general, as many of them will be in their own camps and therefore have fires. Where there’s smoke, there’s a campfire and possibly a strange mission or a group of bandits, as the saying goes.

You can find this herb enthusiast just north of the L in The Heartlands on the map. Go up to him and strike up a conversation to find out why he does what he does and, perhaps most importantly, what’s in it for you.

He’ll ask you to hunt down some Yarrow, which in real life tends to be a plant with a white flower, but in Red Dead Redemption 2 it has red flowers. It can be found everywhere and you may already have some with you.

The PC version has seen several new additions, including a photo mode, the Landmarks of Riches treasure map, The Elemental Trail treasure map, and the End of the Earth quest. Finding Yarrow’s Location in Red Dead Redemption 2

In case you don’t, you can find it by heading just south of the H in The Heartlands and activating your Eagle Eye.

Eagle Eye will make the collectible herbs glow slightly, but you should be able to find it reasonably easy if you look for the red flowers.

Once you have some, go back to the herbalist and give him the yarrow flower. She will talk a little about its medicinal properties after you take a bite (not recommended in the real world when finding a new plant) and will hand you a Horse Reviver.

This is a great gift early in the game, in case you jump your horse off something high or hit a rock. It happens to all of us.

What happens next in The Ends of the Earth in Red Dead Redemption 2?

Once you return the Yarrow, it appears that this particular Stranger mission is technically complete.

However, you can find this friendly botanist in a variety of locations throughout the game. It doesn’t seem to be related to chapter progression, but possibly the time of day or even the game’s lunar cycle.

According to reddit and our own experience, he can be found near Clemens Point, Scarlet Meadows Stable, and Mysterious Hill Home.

So, it’s a little different than the other Stranger quests, but if you can find it to get more rewards. Just make sure you always have a good supply of herbs with you and you’ll be able to fulfill their orders!
