Rock Carvings is one of the smallest sets of collectibles in the world filled with Red Dead Redemption 2 side quests.
There are only 10 to find, but like the others, you’ll want to start by finding the relevant Stranger first. If you head northwest of Strawberry towards a cabin, you can encounter Francis Sinclair, a stranger who will ask you to locate 10 rock carvings located around the world in exchange for some collectibles and decent loot.

Red Dead Redemption 2 Rock Carving Locations
Rock carving 1 location
To reach this rock carving site, put on your winter coat and head to the top of Mount Hagen. Just before the summit trail ends, the rock formation to your right will hold the location of the rock. This one is really easy to spot, but if you have any doubts, use Eagle Eye to locate it perfectly.

This rock carving is a really easy place, all you need to do is head up the road near Whityard Straight until you find a wooden bridge, on the western side of the wooden bridge, slightly to the north, will be this carving, not tour complicated here. Easy peasy.

To reach this rock carving head to the peak overlooking the Dakota River near Bacchus Station, to the north you will find a lower ledge, head here to find this rock carving.

To find this rock carving, you need to head to the northwesternmost peak of the Cumberland Forest, facing the Dakota River, look up at a rope bridge and below there will be a small ledge. Head there and you can go down to a cliff, there will be the next rock carving.

Just west of Strawberry is Lake Owanjila, head to the southwest coast following the road west, then head south to follow the shore and you will soon find this rock carving, which will be right in front of you.

To reach this rock engraving you will need to head to the top of Mount Shann, once there look towards the southeast ridge and go down carefully, once there look at this small plateau and you will be able to easily locate and obtain the location of this next engraving cave. The difficult thing is getting out of here.

This size is another relatively easy one. South of Valentine, towards Limpany, look for a slight ridge on a hill south of the burnt settlement and you can see this rock carving on a hill to the side. Just hop on and hop off and you’ll find this one in no time.

Head south from Moonstone Pond and head towards the Heartland Overflow until you reach a plateau, hidden to the east overlooking the Heartland OVERflow, there will be a slightly tricky rock carving. If you are unsure, use Eagle Eye to locate this collectible.

To get to this Rock Carving location, you’ll need to head up near the summit or Roanoke Ridge at the top of the map; When you reach Deer Cottage, you can see it directly to the east. Just go up and you will be able to find this size a little complicated.

Head to the east side of Elysian Pool, and there you can find this rock carving next to the path on a rock wall, it’s high up, so make sure to use Eagle Eye to spot this rock carving, which is hidden from view. view.
