Pumpkins are the exclusive Halloween event currency used to unlock Pokémon Unite’s special Halloween rewards.
Before continuing, it’s important to note that you can only earn a limited number of pumpkins during the Halloween event, so you may not have enough for each Halloween reward.

How to get pumpkins in Pokémon Unite explained
There are three ways to earn pumpkins during the Pokémon Unite Halloween event: daily login bonuses, the Mer Stadium Halloween quests, and a box of pumpkins, which we cover in the next section.
It’s important to remember that there is a limit to the number of pumpkins you can earn during the Pokémon Unite Halloween event, meaning you may not have enough for each reward. For this reason, we recommend that you spend your pumpkins very wisely.
When it comes to login bonuses, you can earn a total of 49 pumpkins by logging in daily 14 times throughout the event. This means you can safely miss a day and still gain all these pumpkins.
There are eight Halloween quests in Mer Stadium which, as the name suggests, can only be completed in the Halloween-themed Mer Stadium and when completed will provide you with pumpkins or a box of pumpkins.
Here are the Halloween quests in Mer Stadium and their associated rewards:
- Participate in 1 Halloween battle at Mer Stadium: 3 pumpkins
- Win 1 Halloween battle in Mer Stadium: 3 pumpkins.
- Participate in 1 Halloween battle at Mer Stadium with a friend: 3 pumpkins
- Win 1 Halloween battle in Mer Stadium with a friend: 2 boxes of pumpkins.
- Win 3 Halloween battles in Mer Stadium with a friend: 2 boxes of pumpkins
- Take part in 10 Halloween battles at Mer Stadium: 10 pumpkins
- Put a pumpkin on a Pokémon’s head 10 times – 10 Pumpkins
- Win 10 Halloween battles in Mer Stadium with a friend: 10 pumpkins.
This means you can earn 39 pumpkins and 2 pumpkin boxes by completing the above quests.
In total, you will get a total of 88 pumpkins by collecting the daily login bonuses and completing the Halloween quests in Mer Staduim.

Pumpkin Box Odds in Pokémon Unite Explained
A Pumpkin Box in Pokémon Unite is a loot box that contains the special Halloween event currency: pumpkins.
Once you’ve earned all the pumpkins from the daily login bonuses and Halloween quests in Mer Stadium, Pumpkins Boxes are the only way to earn more pumpkins.
The problem, however, is that apart from the two boxes you get with the Halloween missions in Mer Stadium, each Pumpkin Box costs 2 pumpkins. Since you only receive one pumpkin when you open one of these boxes, you run the risk of not being able to pay any of the rewards you want.
For this reason, we highly recommend collecting all pumpkins from both the login bonuses and Halloween quests in Mer Stadium before even considering opening a Pumpkin Box. Then you’ll need to carefully decide exactly what rewards you want to have, and if there are some you can’t afford, you really want them.

Pumpkin rewards in Pokémon Unite explained
Pumpkins can be redeemed for various Halloween-themed rewards in Pokémon Unite.
However, for some reason, the number of pumpkins you can earn is limited and because of this, you may not be able to unlock all of the rewards on offer.
Because of this, we recommend carefully considering which rewards you want to unlock: do you want the Halloween-themed rewards or just the Greedent Unite license?
You will be able to pay for the Greedent Unite license if you complete all Halloween missions in Mer Stadium and collect all daily login bonuses, but you may not have enough left for most of the Halloween-themed rewards.
