Location of the Land of the Celestial Fish in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

To find the Land of the Celestial Fish, stand next to Sidon in Mipha Court. Look up and then east (use the compass around the edge of your minimap to make this easier). If you are having difficulties, please stand where we have marked on the map below at the coordinates (3960, 0539, 0490.)

You should see a set of celestial islands that are very close to Mipha Court and these islands are the Land of the Celestial Fish. Also, if you check your sky map after visiting the island for the first time, you will realize why these particular islands were named after them.

How to get to the Land of the Celestial Fish in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

Now, there are a few ways to get to the Land of the Celestial Fish in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. You can build a flying machine using Zonai devices located near the edge of Mipha Court and fly to the island. However, this is how we did it.

Stand on the edge of Mipha Court at these coordinates (3960, 0539, 0490) and look at the target islands above you. Wait for a big rock to fall from the sky. When he does, follow him to the ground using your paraglider to glide behind him safely.

Once you’ve reached the rock, stand on it and use your Rewind ability to lift it back into the sky. Wait until you are a little higher than the target island, then jump off the rock and glide towards the island to land on it safely.

Regardless of how you chose to get there, once you are in the Land of the Celestial Fish, which is actually marked Floating Scale Island, you must find the Drop-shaped rock.

How to solve the Tear Drop puzzle in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

To solve the Tear Drop puzzle in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you’ll need to have a bow, some arrows, and the royal scales that King Dorephan gave you when you found him.

If you don’t have enough arrows, hit some of the wooden boxes scattered around the island and they should leave you with some packages.

When you’re ready, attach one of King Dorephan’s scales to an arrow and aim for the middle of the Tear. Shoot the arrow through the Tear and see what happens…

After the scene ends, return to Mipha Court to talk to Sidon and prepare to fight.

How to beat Sludge Like in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

The Sludge Like breaks into Mipha Court, but don’t worry, you now have Sidon at your side to defeat this mini-boss. This creature is a variant of the Like Likes found around Hyrule, only this one is bathing in the slimy, sticky substance that is causing chaos around Upland Zorana.

Here are our best tips for beating Sludge Like:

  • Clear the Sludge: This fight introduces you to Sidon’s ability to send a wave of water forward with a melee attack. Use this attack or Splash Fruit attached to the arrows to remove the Sludge from the Sludge Like and make it vulnerable.
  • Stay away from the Sludge: Link can’t run very fast through the Sludge, but the Sludge Like can, so stay away as much as you can because the Sludge Like can easily be on top of Link in seconds if you get stuck.
  • Ranged combat is effective: while you’re trying to remove the Sludge Like’s Sludge or just land a few hits on the creature, keeping your distance from the Sludge Like will give you a better chance of dodging incoming attacks.
  • Bomb Flowers: After removing the stickiness from the creature, attaching a bomb flower to an arrow and shooting it severely damages it.
  • Elemental Fire Attacks: When we fought Sludge Like, we used a flame-emitting shield and that also hurt him a lot once Sludge left his body.
  • Dangly Bit Attack: After a few attacks on the Sludge Like, it will be inactive for a short period of time and the sac in the middle of its mouth will be exposed. Attack this with your highest level melee weapon repeatedly to take away a significant chunk of its health.
  • Dodge Projectile Sludge: Of course, Sludge Like has its own set of attacks that deal a lot of damage. If you can’t dodge the mud projectile attacks in time, then equip Sidon’s Water Shield and this will protect you from the worst damage.
