Pokémon Sun and Moon – Mega Latios, Latias, Ampharos, and Altaria download codes for Latiosite, Latiosite, Ampharosite and Altarianite

Pokémon Sun and Moon - Mega Latios, Latias, Ampharos, and Altaria download codes for Latiosite, Latiosite, Ampharosite and Altarianite

Continuing their initial distribution to players who participated in a previous online tournament, the Latiosite, Latiasite, Ampharosite and Altarianite Mega Stones for Mega Latios, Mega Latias, Mega Ampharos and Mega Altaria are now available via download code distribution.

That means four new Mega Stones have been added to the stack of Mega Evolutions available in Pokémon Sun and Moon, and you can read on to find out how to download Mega Stones and what the download codes are for Latiosite, Latiasite, Ampharosite, and Altarianite, below.

Pokémon Sun and Moon finally prove a strange fan theory?

Download codes for Mega Latios, Mega Ampharos, Mega Altaria and Mega Latias for Pokémon Sun and Moon

Instead of using a QR code, as has been done before with giveaways like the mythical Pokémon Magearna, the distribution event for Latiosite, Latiasite, Altarianite and Ampharosite works like the one for Marshadow, and is addressed by a download code for a mysterious gift.

Mega Latios, Mega Latias, Mega Altaria, Mega Ampharos Mega Stone Code:

This is exactly how to download the Mega Stones in question via Mystery Gift:

  1. Select Mystery Gift from the main menu.
  2. Select Receive gift.
  3. Select Get with code/password, then Yes, and then Yes again to connect to the Internet.
  4. Enter your code.
  5. Watch how you receive Mega Stones.
  6. Talk to the delivery person at any Pokémon Center to collect your Mega Stones.
  7. Make sure you save your game!

When does the Latiosite, Latiasite, Altarianite and Ampharosite mega stone giveaway end?

We finally have an end date for the giveaways and it’s a little closer than we thought. All Mega Stone codes will stop working at 23:59 UTC on October 31, 2017.

While the codes are active, we suggest you download the Mega Stones as soon as possible, because it is definitely worth having access to the Mega Evolutions for Latios, Latias, Altaria and Ampharos anyway.

Do you need more advice? Use our Pokémon Sun and Moon walkthrough and guide for the main story, our competitive training guide for information on IV, EV training, hypertraining and bottle cap farming, and breeding explained, our pick for the best starter Pokémon from Pokémon Sun and Moon by Rowlet. Litten and Popplio, as well as a progressing list of where to find Zygarde Cells and Cores and our guide to the Battle Tree and Battles and Trading in Festival Plaza. We also have a list of QR codes, Z Crystal locations, Mega Stone locations, Eevium Z Eevee user locations for Extreme Evoboost, evolutions for Alolan Forms and other new Pokémon Sun and Moon and a quick way to increase the happiness of a Pokémon, plus how to transfer through Ash-Greninja from the Sun and Moon demo, where to catch Tapu Guardians, how to catch Ultra Beasts, and how to download Munchlax’s Mystery Gift.

It’s also worth noting that you could have gotten your hands on the regularly released Mega Stones a little earlier, if you participated in specific online competitions when they were announced.

In this case, Altarianite, Ampharosite, Latiosite, and Latiasite were first available to players in August, if you participated in the Weakness Cup Battle competition during July.

This is essentially the format for all Mega Stones: participants in specific tournaments like the Kanto players via a download code about a month later.
