Pokémon Go Ultra Beast list, all current and upcoming Ultra Beasts

Ultra Beasts were added to Pokémon Go during global and in-person events during Go Fest 2022.

If you’re not familiar with them, Ultra Beasts are extradimensional Pokémon that come from Ultra Space via Ultra Wormholes and were first introduced during the main series of games in Sun and Moon. Just like in Sun and Moon, Nihilego was the first Ultra Beast to appear in Pokémon Go.

As Ultra Beasts were limited to Go Fest events at launch, they are some of the rarest Pokémon in the game, having only been available in limited-time raids and special research for Go Fest 2022 ticket holders.

Pokémon Ultra Beast released in Pokémon Go so far

The first Ultra Beast, Nihilego, was released as part of the Go Fest 2022 global event in June 2022.

Three more were then presented as part of the in-person Go Fest events in the following months: Pheromosa, Buzzwole and Xurkitree, as part of special research missions in Berlin, Seattle and Sapporo, respectively. They then appeared as part of the Go Fest global final event on Saturday, August 27, 2022, just before the end of the Go Season.

From there, more continue to trickle through the wormholes, with Celesteela and Kartana in the southern and northern hemispheres respectively as part of the Season of Light.

Below you will find the complete list of all the Ultra Beast Pokémon released in Pokémon Go so far:

The Season of Adventure Abundance is here! You can also work on the Timed Investigation: Master Ball mission and compete in Go Battle League. Be sure to compete in Shadow Raids, complete routes, use Daily Adventure Incense for a chance to encounter Galarian Articuno, Galarian Zapdos, and Galarian Moltres. This incense can also give you encounters with other rare Pokémon in Pokémon Go.

Everything we know about Ultra Beasts in Pokémon Go

Although you can use any Poké Ball to catch Ultra Beasts in Pokémon Go, Beast Balls have been added to the Go Fest 2022 in-person events. These new Poké Balls are designed specifically to help catch Ultra Beast Pokémon and feature a very sci-fi design.

Despite their unique appearance, in raids they essentially act the same as Premier Balls during the capture phase, with a limited number available depending on your prowess during battle.
