The Pokémon Go Tour Poké Ball Prep Rally is all about preparing for the upcoming Go Tour: Johto event.

Throughout this event, you will be able to complete the Go Tour Poké Ball Prep Rally timed research mission and collect a selection of field research tasks exclusive to the event.

Best of all, this event sees the release of Hisuian Electrode in Pokémon Go, meaning you start evolving any Hisuian Voltorbs you’ve caught.

Steps of the ‘Go Tour Poké Ball Prep Rally’ mission in Pokémon Go

The ‘Go Tour Poké Ball Prep Rally’ is the timed research mission for the Poké Ball Prep Rally event in Pokémon Go.

Since this is a timed research mission, you must complete it before the event ends on Friday, February 25, or else you will miss out on the reward.

  • Reward for catching 2 Voltorb: 3 Poké Balls
  • Reward for making 5 good throws: 10 Poké Balls
  • Make 3 big reward throws: 5 big balls.
  • Get a reward for excellent throwing: 3 Ultra Balls
  • Make 3 good curveball throws in a row: reward: 3 pineapple berries
  • Reward for making 4 Great Curveball Throws in a row: 1 Silver Pineapple Berry

The Pokémon Go Tour Poké Ball Prep Rally sees the release of Hisuian Electrode in-game. With the first appearance of Hisuian Voltorb a couple of weeks ago, this means you can add another Hisui variant to your Pokédex.
