The main attraction of the Power Plant event is the launch of Helioptile and Heliolisk in Pokémon Go. These Electric and Normal-type Pokémon come from the Kalos region, making them part of Generation 6.

Helioptile will appear in the wild, along with the following Pokémon:

  • magnemite
  • Grimer
  • voltorb
  • Electrode
  • Electabuzz
  • Jolteon
  • Porygon
  • trash

Grimer, Voltorb, and Helioptile appear most frequently in the wild.

Electric and Steel-type Pokémon have also invaded One-Star Raids, with Pikachu, Beldum, Shinx, Blitzle, and Klink available for battle.

Both the three- and five-star raid pools will change at 10 a.m. local time on Monday, January 24, with Regice becoming available in five-star raids. Meanwhile, in three-star raids, you’ll be able to fight Dewgong, Piloswine, Monferno, and Druddigon.

Finally, starting Monday, January 24 at 12am (local time), Team Go Rocket will also push their evil agenda once again. They will begin to invade PokéStops and their balloons will fly through the sky more frequently. You can also use a Charged TM on a Shadow Pokémon to help it forget about Frustration.

Team Go Rocket may have more plans…

The Season of Adventure Abundance is here! The Out to Play event is currently taking place. You can also work on the Timed Investigation: Master Ball mission and compete in Go Battle League. Be sure to compete in Shadow Raids, complete routes, use Daily Adventure Incense for a chance to encounter Galarian Articuno, Galarian Zapdos, and Galarian Moltres. This incense can also give you encounters with other rare Pokémon in Pokémon Go.
