Pokémon Go baby Pokémon list – how to get Bonsly, Munchlax, Chingling, Mantyke, Togepi, Azurill, Wynaut and more

Pokémon Go has a number of baby Pokémon that you can only obtain by hatching Eggs: Togepi, Pichu Magby, Elekid, Igglybuff, Smoochum, Cleffa, Azurill, and Wynaut from Gen 3 and Mantyke, Chingling, and Munchlax from Gen 4.

Next, we’ll explain how to get the new baby Pokémon and everything you need to know about them.

How to get baby Pokémon Togepi, Pichu, Magby, Elekid, Igglybuff, Smoochum, Cleffa, Azurill, Wynaut, Munchlax, Chingling, Mantyke, Happiny and Bonsly in Pokémon Go

What’s unique about Baby Pokémon is that you have to get them out of the eggs, which means you’ll have to walk.

The distances necessary for each Pokémon to be cut and changed depending on the event in question. Our egg table page will give you the latest information for specific types of creatures, but in summary, expect to find them in 2km and 5km eggs, or if there’s an event, 7km eggs. (To date, none have appeared in 10K Eggs, despite their rarity!)

Here is a complete list of the baby Pokémon available in the game so far:

The Season of Adventure Abundance is here! The Halloween event has returned, bringing with it Greavard and Houndstone. Party Play, Pokémon Go’s multiplayer feature, is here, along with the Welcome Party quest. You can also work on the Timed Investigation: Master Ball mission and compete in Go Battle League. Be sure to compete in Shadow Raids, complete routes, use Daily Adventure Incense for a chance to encounter Galarian Articuno, Galarian Zapdos, and Galarian Moltres. This incense can also give you encounters with other rare Pokémon in Pokémon Go.

There are a couple more points that these new additions have raised that are worth knowing:

  • The frequency with which these baby Pokémon will appear in Eggs will change during special events. An example is the Valentine’s Day event update, which increases the rate of Cleffa, Igglybuff, and Smoochum.
  • All Baby Pokémon will have an evolution. Most of these can be caught in the wild, so if you want a full living Pokédex, try catching them instead of evolving the Baby Pokémon.
