Steps of the mission ‘A Mysterious Incense’ in Pokémon Go
A Mysterious Incense is a special research quest in Pokémon Go that is available to all trainers, as it introduces the Daily Adventure Incense to the game. This special item will attract Pokémon for 15 minutes when activated (including Galarain Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres!), but you must move for the spawns to appear.
You can find the quest in the “Special” tab of your research menu (tap the binoculars symbol on the map screen), and all you have to do to complete Part 1 is tap “Claim Reward” to get your first daily mission. Adventure Incense.
After claiming your first Daily Adventure Incense, you will now be eligible to receive another one at 12am (local time) every day, as long as you don’t have one currently activated or in your inventory at that time.

- Use 1 Adventure Incense daily: 1000 XP
- Use Daily Adventure Incense to help capture 10 Pokémon: 1000 XP
- Walk 1 km: 1000 XP
Rewards for completing step 1: x25 Poké Balls, x500 Stardust, and an encounter with Ponyta.
‘A Mysterious Incense Part 2’ Step 2 of 2
- Use 5 Adventure Incense daily: 1000 XP
- Use Daily Adventure Incense to help capture 100 Pokémon – 1000 XP
- Walk 10 km: 1000 XP
Rewards for completing step 2: 2500 XP, 2500 Stardust, and an encounter with Dodrio.
