Every month in New Horizons celebrate the arrival of new insects, fish, and sea creatures to your island.
Finding and capturing these creatures will not only help you complete both the Museum and your Critterpedia, but will eventually allow you to unlock the Golden Fishing Rod and Golden Net DIY recipes. At the beginning of each month in New Horizons a series of creatures will leave the shores of your island. Because of this, it’s a good idea to make sure you’ve captured at least one of each creature that visited your island. This way you won’t have to wait months for them to return or risk traveling back in time.
When it comes to these wandering critters, we recommend trying to catch them at the beginning of each month, so you don’t feel pressured at the end of the month.
