When is Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak released? Monster Hunter Rise UK/BST, CEST, EDT and PDT release time explained

The Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak release date is Thursday, June 30, and it will launch on both Switch and PC via Steam.

Monster Hunter Rise release times are as follows for all regions on Steam:

  • UK: 5am (BST)
  • Europe: 06:00 (CEST)
  • US East Coast: 12:01 am (EDT)
  • US West Coast: 9 pm (Wednesday the 29th) (PDT)

As for Switch, we only have an estimate. It will probably follow the same times as above or be available at midnight in your local region. The good news is that on Switch the patch is now available, allowing you to play when it is unlocked.

Update 10.0.2 is now available on Switch and the expansion launches (June 30) on Steam, and features the following (copied verbatim from the official Monster Hunter website):

New story elements

  • New base, monsters, places and endemic life.

Player movements and mechanics

All weapons

  • Added Switch Skill Swap and Swap Evade for all weapon types.
  • Added new switch abilities, combos and more for all weapon types.
    • New option to wall run without first using a Wiredash.
  • New features of the training area.
    • Added new attacks for each weapon type that combo from landing after a jump or fall.
    • Recovery items with drinking animations (such as potions) no longer trigger the animation when you are at full health and can now also be canceled.
    • Fixed an issue where the camera would slide slightly when adjusting your aim as a gunner.
    • Ammo is now loaded by default when you leave your tent equipped with a Gunlance, Light Crossbow, or Heavy Crossbow.
