Modern Warfare: Warzone Season 4 Updates
Modern Warfare Season 4 not only marks the arrival of a new Battle Pass, but also introduces a number of new features for you to experiment with. This includes:
- Warzone Rumble: a new 50v50 game mode in Warzone
- Weapon Mastery Challenges, which become available once you’ve unlocked gold for a weapon and offer you a new set of rewards for each weapon.
- Three in-match events (Jailbreak, Fire Sale, and Supply Choppa) that have the potential to swing the match in your favor.
- The smuggling contract system, which, if completed successfully, will reward you with a permanent blueprint.
- New operators and skins, including Captain Price, Surreptitious and Killswitch.
- Four new songs for the Modern Warfare playlist and six for the Warzone playlist
- New vehicle and weapon skins for Warzone
- Modified Special Ops: Fair Reward – Veteran and Fair Reward – Regular
- Season 4 Battle Pass with 100 Tiers of New Unlocks Including Weapon Blueprints and COD Points

Modern Warfare Patch Notes: What was introduced in the Modern Warfare Season 4 update

General fixes:
- Fix for some players not receiving their Season 3 emblem
- Fixes to help reduce players encountering error code 13-71. If you continue to experience this after today’s update, please contact Activision Customer Support.
- Fixed a bug where Ghost Perk was not hiding players from the heartbeat sensor when viewing Killcam.
- Fixed an issue where some players were unable to activate a nuke after obtaining the appropriate number of kills.
- Fixed an issue where the fourth Operator Mission for Talon, “Complete 2 Warzone Raid Matches,” was not performing as expected.
- Fixed an issue where some players could encounter long wait times when trying to load Ground War matches.
- Fixed a bug where neutral points would appear yellow instead of gray.
- Various exploit fixes on multiple maps
- Fixed Officer Challenge: “Get 20 kills while crouched” not registering correctly for some players.
- Fixed a bug where white health regeneration would trigger when knocking down other players even if Quick Fix was not equipped.
- Fixed an exploit where players could sometimes summon duplicate UAVs.
- Added new weapon perks to the Specialist Bonus (the bonus you get after getting 8 kills while the Specialist is active): Frangible-Incapacitating, Frangible-Wounding, Mo’Money, Recon, Heavy Hitter, FMJ, Presence of Mind.
- Fixed a bug where players could not perform executions on some elevated surfaces.
- Fixes to help avoid an issue where players could move before the match countdown timer completed.
- Fixes to help prevent black graphical corruption issues that some players were seeing
- Fixed issue with the “For the Cause” grip tape not appearing correctly on the M4 base
- Improved stability fixes for PC
- Fixes to help prevent issues with voice chat
Weapons:
- Reduced ammo count for reload warning on belt-fed LMG
- Fixed a bug with HDR and Sleight of Hand where reloading would not give the player ammo.

War zone:
- Loot Update: New weapons and updated blueprints! Keep an eye out for the Fennec, CR-56 Amax, Renetti and more!
- Fixed a bug where the Recon Contract could appear inside an Ammo Supply Cache, making it unusable.
- After completing the Smuggling Mission and calling in the extraction helicopter, players could shoot the helicopter without receiving hit markers and the helicopter would remain on the screen indefinitely.
- Fixed a bug where players could drop their weapon in the Gulag.
- Fixed an exploit where players could duplicate Self Revive kits.
Special operations:
- Fixed a bug where a player would get stuck in a third-person game.
- Daily challenges are now displayed alongside multiplayer and Warzone challenges.
- Fixed an issue where unlocking an Operator skin in co-op would not also unlock the base skin for that Operator.
- Fixed a bug where the game would not end properly if the last living player used Team Revive immediately before dying.
Special Operations: Survival:
- Solution to duplicate the Juggernaut Suit Munition minigun
- Fix for rare cases of waves not ending correctly.
- Fixed an exploit in Saint Petrograd where players could completely hide from soldiers behind a bar.
