We begin to solve the puzzle from right to left. In the last column, we add the numbers in the two rows and move one digit of the sum to the left column. We have demonstrated it in the image below.
Similarly, we add the numbers in the penultimate column and move one digit of the sum to the leftmost column. Again, we have demonstrated the same in the image below.
We repeat this logic on the remaining rows and columns. Additionally we will obtain:
=> 2 + 8 = 10 + 1 (carried forward from the previous sum) = 11
We get a match of 1 in the third row. We take the remaining digit to the left column. We add the values of the second row and obtain:
=> 6 + 7 = 13 + 1 (carried forward from the previous sum) = 14
We once again get a match of 4 in the third row. We take the remaining digit to the left column. Now we add the value in the first row and apply the same logic to find the missing number in the place of the question mark. We have demonstrated the same in the image below.
=> 3 + 3 = 6 + 1 (carried forward from the previous sum) = 7
