Important Government Schemes 2023

1.PM VIshwakarma KAushal Samman (PM VIKAS)

Under this scheme, artisans receive financial assistance. The PM VIshwakarma KAushal Samman scheme will enable artisans to enhance the scale, quality and reach of their products, integrating them with the MSME value chain.

2.Atmanirbhar Horticulture Clean Plant Program

This scheme will contribute to the availability of quality, disease-free planting material for high-value horticultural crops.

3. Pharmaceutical Innovation Program

In Budget 2023, the Finance Minister proposed to launch a new program to promote innovation and research in pharmaceuticals, which will be addressed through centers of excellence.

4. Aspirational Districts and Blocks Program

The government has launched the Aspirational Blocks Programme, which will provide essential government services in multiple areas such as nutrition, health, agriculture, skill development, education, financial inclusion, water resources and basic infrastructure.

5.Pradhan Mantri PVTG Development Mission

Pradhan Mantri PVTG Development Mission will be launched to improve the socio-economic conditions of particularly vulnerable tribal groups (PVTG).

6. Green Credit Program

The Green Credit Program will be launched under the Environment (Protection) Act to encourage behavioral changes and incentivize environmentally responsible and sustainable actions by individuals, businesses and local bodies. It will help them mobilize additional resources for such activities.

7. PM-PRANAM

The PM Program for Restoration, Awareness, Nutrition and Enhancement of Mother Earth (PM-PRANAM) will encourage states and UTs to promote balanced use of chemical fertilizers and alternative fertilizers.

8. Amrit Dharohar

Under this scheme, wetlands would be conserved, promoting their optimal use. scheme It will be implemented in the next three years, as wetlands are crucial ecosystems for sustaining biological diversity.

9. Mahila Samman Bachat Patra

Mahila Samman Savings Certificate, a small one-time savings plan, will be available for two years, i.e. until March 2025.

November 12, 2021

1. It will improve access to the government securities market for retail investors.

2. Retail investors will be able to open and maintain their Government Securities (G-Sec) account online with the RBI free of cost.

3. It will bring the middle class, seniors, small business owners and employees directly and safely into G-Sec.

Reserve Bank – Integrated Ombudsman System

November 12, 2021

1. It is based on the One Nation-One Ombudsman.

2. Improves grievance redressal mechanism to resolve customer complaints against RBI regulated entities.

3. It will facilitate a single point of reference for customers to lodge complaints, track status, submit documents and provide feedback.

Ayushman CAPF Healthcare Plan

November 2, 2021

1. It is a joint initiative of MHA and NHA to help CAPF staff access healthcare services across India.

2. The scheme provides cashless and paperless medical treatment in integrated hospitals.

3. CAPF staff and their dependents will receive an electronic card to benefit from the plan.

Prime Minister Atmanirbhar Swasth Bharat Yojana

October 25, 2021

1. It will focus on strengthening health infrastructure throughout the country.

2. Provide support to establish 17,788 rural health and wellness centers in 10 high focus states. In addition, 11,024 urban Health and Wellness Centers will be established in all states.

3. An IT-based disease surveillance system by developing a network of surveillance laboratories at block, district, regional and national levels in all metropolitan areas.

PM GatiShakti-National Master Plan

October 13, 2021

1. It will integrate and implement various infrastructure schemes in the next four years.

2. It will include Rs. 110 lakh crore national infrastructure pipeline which was launched in 2019.

3. The plan will increase cargo handling capacity, reduce turnaround time at ports, develop 11 industrial and 2 defense corridors, extend 4G connectivity to all villages, expand gas pipeline network, national highway network , the creation of new airports, heliports, water aerodromes and more.

Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission

September 27, 2021

1. It is also known as National Digital Health Mission (NDHM).

2. The plan will create a seamless online platform by providing a wide range of data, information and infrastructure services, duly leveraging open, interoperable and standards-based digital systems.

3. It will guarantee the security, confidentiality and privacy of personal health-related information, and allow access and exchange of longitudinal health records of citizens with their consent.

Rail Kaushal Vikas Yojana

September 17, 2021

1. It is a program under the auspices of Prime Minister Kaushal Vikas Yojana to improve employability and promote entrepreneurship.

2. Initial training will be imparted to youth of the age group of 18 to 35 years in industry relevant skills through Railway Training Institutes.

3. The plan aims to train 50,000 young people until 2024 in four trades: welder, electrician, installer and machinist.

e-SHRAM

August 26, 2021

1. For registration of unorganized sector workers, seeded with Aadhaar.

2. Workers will receive an e-SHRAM card with UAN through which they can access the benefits of the different social security schemes.

3. The database will help the government formulate policies, create future jobs and launch schemes for workers.

Swachh Bharat Mission: Urban 2.0 and AMRUT 2.0

2. Swachh Bharat Mission-Urban 2.0 seeks to eliminate open defecation and improve solid waste management.

Academic Credit Bank Scheme

2. It will create a pool of authors (under 30 years of age) who are ready to express themselves and project India globally.

3. Authors will master writing in various genres, such as fiction, non-fiction, poetry, etc.

PM Umeed Scheme

1. Provide vocational training to youth to help them become entrepreneurs until 2025-26.

2. It facilitates loans to the youth and helps them connect with the right markets.

3. Under this scheme, vocational training will be provided to 3 lakh youth.

Gram Ujala Scheme

March 24, 2021

1. Raise awareness against climate change and save electricity.

2. LED bulbs will be distributed at Rs. 10 a piece in five states: Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.

3. Residents can purchase a maximum of 5 LED bulbs by paying for old 100 watt bulbs and meters will be installed in these homes.

All these plans must be implemented by the government of India to ensure the social and economic well-being of the nation.
