How to get Hisuian Growlithe in Pokémon Go
Hisuian Growlithe first appeared in Pokémon Go during the Hisuian Discoveries event that began on Wednesday, July 27, 2022.
There is only one way to get Hisuian Growlithe during this event, and that is by hatching 7 km eggs. Remember, you must collect the egg during the hours of the Hisuian Discoveries event to have a chance to hatch this Growlithe variant.
Note that Hisuian Growlithe is only one possible reward from the 7km eggs, as Hisuian Sneasel, Hisuian Voltorb, and Hisuian Qwilfish are also part of the 7km egg pool during the Discoveries event. You have until the event ends on Tuesday, August 2 at 8 pm (local time) to collect eggs that could contain a Hisuian Growlithe.
To obtain 7 km eggs, you will need to open gifts from friends, which may contain 7 km eggs. Just make sure there is enough space in your egg inventory to collect the egg!

How to evolve Hisuian Growlithe into Hisuian Arcanine in Pokémon Go
To evolve Hisuian Growlithe into Hisuian Arcanine in Pokémon Go, you must collect 50 Growlithe Candy. Unlike the Hisuian variants of Sneasel and Qwilfish, there is no special requirement other than collecting Growlithe candy to turn it into Hisuian Arcanine.
Whether you just want the Hisuian form of Growlithe or your goal is to add all Hisuian Pokémon to your Pokédex, you’ll need to earn enough Growlithe Candy to get its evolution, and the Hisuian Discoveries event is the best time to do it right now.
Fortunately, Hisuian Growlithe takes the same sweets as a normal Growlithe, so you may already have enough to evolve it. Otherwise, you’ll need to hatch several Hisuian Growlithe from 7km eggs collected during the Discoveries event, or set one as your friend to get the 50 candies needed to evolve it.
You can also use Rare Candy if you really want your Hisuian Growlithe to evolve into Arcanine as soon as possible.
