How to farm Champions easily in Destiny 2

How to farm Champions easily in Destiny 2

Champions are a unique enemy type that you will encounter in Destiny 2’s endgame.

These enemies require stunning with a weapon aligned with a season-specific Champion mod before they can be defeated.

Defeating multiple champions is a common feature of Destiny 2’s seasonal objectives and quest steps, tasking you with defeating a large number per season.

If you’re not a regular at endgame content, or just want to get through these steps as quickly as possible, then looking into a champion farm is highly recommended.

How to farm champions easily in Destiny 2

Champions are difficult to defeat and as such often appear sparingly in endgame content, making them difficult to farm to achieve objectives.

Your best bet is to play the shorter endgame challenge or find a place where they spawn reliably and that you can revisit quickly.

Let’s start with the latter, which is our most recommended property. There is a champion that appears at the beginning of the Vox Obscura mission, which you can eliminate and revisit about every 90 seconds; The following video shows the location and cultivation method:

Vox Obscura is the final part of the Dead Messenger mission introduced as part of Season of the Risen, and is a replayable mission that you can visit as many times as you like.

Not only is it fast and accessible at lower levels (the only requirement is to complete the Witch Queen campaign and then complete the first week of the Operation Elbrus seasonal mission), but it also contributes to a weekly Pinnacle drop for Defeat powerful enemies within. that mission.

Additionally, if you have completed Vox Obscura previously and have access to Master difficulty, a second Champion will appear at the start of the mission to make farming even faster.

If you don’t have access to Vox Obscura, we recommend running Legend or Master Lost Sectors. These are more challenging versions of these Patrol area dungeons and change daily as part of an ongoing Lost Sector rotation.

Depending on the character in question and your power level and gear, you can complete them in a matter of minutes, giving you access to a handful of champions in a single visit.

This is a more demanding farm, but like Vox Obscura, it has a secondary benefit; It’s good for unlocking any solo Lost Sector-exclusive exotic armor that’s missing from your collection.

The Season of the Depths is here along with the Into the Depths quest. You can also know how to go fishing! Don’t forget to keep an eye on the Lost Sector and King’s Fall challenge rotation schedule!

Other champion locations in Destiny 2

Elsewhere, Grandmaster Nightfalls can have between 15 and 25 champions to defeat, depending on location. These are probably the most challenging encounters in the game, so it’s less of a farm and more of a useful byproduct of doing them.

Plus, by then you’ll probably have completed every single Champion-specific challenge along the way to getting enough power levels to reach the extremely high Grandmaster requirement in the first place, so it’ll probably be less useful.

If any of these don’t suit you, know that if you regularly participate in endgame content, champions appear in most of them: in Nightfalls, Dares of Eternity, certain raids and seasonal activities, such as Season of Plunder’s Expeditions and further.

The difference is that these activities take a while to complete and/or only have one or two champions in each, so it will take you a while to get through the challenges you’re hoping to complete.

No matter which way you do it, completing champion-specific challenges is a difficult task, but with the right placements you can get through it much easier.
