How to evolve Bramblin into Brambleghast in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

You can turn Bramblin into Brambleghast in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, but unlike the original games, it’s not as simple as leveling up to the right level.

Brambleghast is one of the new special evolutions found in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, and uses an entirely new evolution method found only in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. You can’t just level up; You have to put in a little effort first.

Here’s where to find a Bramblin if you haven’t caught one yet, and then how to turn it into Brambleghast in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

Where to find Bramblin in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

Bramblin is found in the Asado Desert in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, along with Area Three of the Eastern Province. You’ll often see it floating in the wind, but that’s not a tumbleweed! It is a haunted tumbleweed, making it a Grass/Ghost-type Pokémon.

You can check its habitat in the image below:

Our The Teal Mask walkthrough will help you complete the first part of The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC, but make sure you know how to start it first. When visiting Kitakami it is a good idea to know how to get Sinistea, Dipplin and The Loyal Three. Our Pokémon Scarlet and Violet walkthrough can take you through the main campaign, including The First Day of School, Victory Road, Starfall Street, Path of Legends, and, when you’re ready, The Way Home and the final boss. Elsewhere, we can help with the normal gym test secret item menu, version differences, the best scarlet and violet starter, XP farming, shiny Pokémon, and learning to fly, swim, climb, and run. When it comes to individual Pokémon, we can help with Gimmighoul, Ditto, Bellibolt, Pawmot, Scovillain, Frigibax, Brambleghast, Annihilape, Farigiraf, Dudunsparce, Lycanrock, Armarouge, and Ceruledge.

How to evolve Bramblin in Brambleghast

To evolve Bramblin into Brambleghast in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, you must walk 1000 steps using the Let’s Go feature and then level up. Simply tap the R button and have him walk next to you!

The obvious flaw with this plan is that Bramblin is obviously blown away by a strong breeze, so you don’t want to do this around wild Pokémon, as Bramblin will be easily defeated and returned to its Pokéball.

Pro tip: Fly to Alfornada and walk up and down the main street five times; It is about 200 steps long. You will also have to walk slowly. If you walk too fast, your Bramblin will simply fly back to its Pokéball and your steps will be wasted.

Once you’ve walked 1000 miles in steps, you can simply level up your Bramblin to activate its evolution.

Congratulations!
