Heardle answer today for 11th August: What is the song today for 168?

With the dawn of a new day comes Heardle’s response for today, August 11.

Heardle is a music game inspired by Wordle, where instead of guessing a word, you listen to the beginning of a song, and each wrong guess expands the preview to help you work out the title and artist in question.

If you can’t guess once you’ve heard the full preview, you’ll break your streak, which is why figuring out Heardle’s answer today is so important for players, especially since some song intros are harder to hit than others.

Heardle is perhaps the best-known inspiration for Wordle, the word game that saw millions of players signing up every day within months of its arrival in late 2021.

The most significant development in Heardle’s history is its purchase by Spotify for an undisclosed amount in July 2022.

Although Heardle remains free-to-play and the game itself hasn’t changed, the acquisition has seen some changes, including a switch from SoundCloud as its preferred player to Spotify, which now allows players to listen to the full track once the game has concluded. .

That’s partly why Spotify was interested in Heardle. “We’re always looking for innovative and fun ways to enhance music discovery and help artists reach new fans,” said Jeremy Erlich, global head of music at Spotify.

It hasn’t been an easy transition, however: the game is only available in select countries immediately after the acquisition (UK, US, Ireland, Canada, Australia and New Zealand) and players have reported that streaks are disappearing

Wordle, for those who don’t know, went through something similar: streaks restarted for some players after his purchase by the New York Times.

As for Heardle’s future, Spotify has teased that the game “and other interactive experiences” “will allow music lovers to connect more deeply with artists and challenge their friends, and have fun in the process.”
