Setting structures on fire is one of the challenges you can complete in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6.
In this challenge, you will unleash your inner arsonist as you destroy 10 structures on the Fortnite map with the powerful force of fire.
Completing this challenge will reward you with 24k XP, which will help you unlock the new Battle Pass skin.

There are several ways to set structures on fire in Fortnite, such as shooting an arrow with the flame bow or exploding a gas canister near a wooden structure, but the easiest way is to drop bottled fireflies on a wooden building.
By far the best place to find fireflies is the Weeping Forest, with small groups of these surprisingly dangerous insects scattered throughout the forest. If you’re having trouble finding some fireflies, try exploring the forest at night when the fireflies will have an orange glow.
Fireflies are easier to see at night.
Once you’ve collected some fireflies, head to one of the multiple wooden buildings scattered throughout Weeping Woods.
After finding one, simply throw the fireflies at the structure and watch the fire ignite. Just make sure to throw the fireflies at the wooden part, so it lights up and you can get out quickly or else you might lose health.
The fire, as expected, burns.
The structure only needs to have one fire to count towards the challenge, so we suggest visiting several wooden buildings and setting them on fire to ensure you can complete this task quickly. This challenge can also be completed over multiple matches, so keep throwing fireflies and lighting fires until you’ve lit 10 structures.

‘Setting structures on fire’ doesn’t work in Fortnite explained
At the time of writing, the ‘Set structures on fire’ challenge is experiencing a bug where several players are not properly tracking the progress of this mission.
The mission counts randomly or does not count at all once the player completes it; The exact number of players affected is unknown, and some players were able to complete the challenge without issue.
Fortunately, Epic Games is investigating the issue, with the Fortnite Status Twitter account indicating that they are investigating the issue on Thursday, April 8.
