The Fortnite plane is a new type of vehicle, introduced as part of Season 7.
The X-4 Stormwing Plane is the game’s first aerial vehicle, allowing up to four other players to fly over the map, perform stunts, and more, as long as you know the plane’s controls and, of course, the plane’s location.

Please note that this particular challenge can no longer be completed. What’s new? Chapter 4 Season 2 has arrived! New additions include Grind Rails and Kinetic Blades, along with the new Battle Pass, character collection, and Eren Jaeger skin. It’s a good idea to know how to get XP quickly in Fortnite.

Fortnite Airplane Locations
Fortnite’s plane, the X-4 Stormwing, appears in the same way as other vehicles: throughout the map in specific locations, but only in a limited number at a time.
Possible Fortnite airplane locations include:

More specifically, these are:
Frosty Flights, a named location in the southwest of the map:
West of Dusty Divot, at the top of the mountain:
East of the Tomato Temple, across the river
West of Paradise Palms, on the edge of the desert:
North of Happy Hamlet, in the mountains
Southeast of Frosty Flights, where a single plane can appear next to a camp (and one of the prohibited locations):
North of Pleasant Park, at the top of the mountain:
West of Lonely Lodge is an airstrip on a hill:
Southeast of Pleasant Park and between the two mountains is a landing strip:
South of Lonely Lodge is a large abandoned manor house. Head to the basement to find a disco room. Destroy the speakers on the left to reveal a secret cave with a plane inside:
What all this means is that there is no guarantee of finding plane locations, but they may only appear where indicated above. More plane locations may be added over time, especially as the map is updated, so be sure to stay tuned!

Fortnite airplane stunts
In addition to basic flight, the X-4 Stormwing is also capable of performing acrobatics.
Fly upside down: Press both scroll buttons together:

Other things you should know about the X-4 Stormwing:
- There is a mounted machine gun, which overheats if used for too long. Short bursts recommended!
- When you exit the plane, you will automatically begin to submerge.
- Over the Christmas period, the aircraft underwent a festive makeover:
- If the plane is destroyed, you will not die: you will be ejected and injured.
- Crashing into another plane doesn’t result in an immediate explosion either: they will most likely just bounce off each other!
