Downloading personnel files from old IO servers is one of the Week 9 Resistance challenges in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2.
This is the second Resistance challenge in Fortnite for Week 9, and to unlock it, you must first complete all of the Resistance challenges from the past few weeks, as well as do some fishing to find Agent Jones as part of the first Fortnite Resistance challenge. Week 9.
This challenge will reward you with 23k XP, which will help you unlock new skins and other rewards from this season’s Battle Pass.

Old IO Server Locations in Fortnite Explained
Before you can properly start this Fortnite challenge, you must establish a device uplink in one of the three locations around the Command Cavern.
Before or after doing so, we recommend gathering some supplies and weapons, because for this challenge you will be venturing into the Command Cavern full of enemies.
There are three old IO servers located in Command Cavern, but you only need to visit one to complete this challenge.
The easiest Ancient IO Server can be found by diving into the vent located west of the north entrance to Command Cavern.
Jump through this vent to find the IO Server.
Simply jump into the vent and land on the platform below to find the server waiting for you.
This server can also be reached by exploring the western side of Command Cavern, passing one of the drills and going through the door on the ground level of this area.
Head to this door to find the old IO Server through the Command Cavern.
To find the second Ancient IO Server, enter the Command Cavern from the north entrance and go to the ground floor of the central building. Here, in the area under the stairs, you will find the IO server.
The last Old IO Server is the hardest to find, but if you want to visit it, start by exploring the tunnel right in front of the north entrance to Command Cavern.
Head to the upper left corner of this tunnel area to find a set of locked double doors. Fortunately, there is a vent nearby that you can head to.
After crawling through the vents a bit, you will find yourself in the room behind the closed doors and there, on the ground floor, you will find the old IO servers.

How to download staff files from old IO servers in Fortnite
Once you’ve found an old IO server in Fortnite, you’ll want to start downloading some personal files. To do this, all you have to do is interact with the server and then browse through the files until you reach ‘The Imagined’ and ‘The Order’.
