Finding the location of Moisty Mire’s treasure map is the goal of one of Fortnite’s many weekly challenges.
Completing it will give you additional XP to help you earn many Season 3 rewards. Please note that you will need to have a Battle Pass in order to take on this challenge.

Please note that this particular challenge can no longer be completed. What’s new? Chapter 4 Season 2 has arrived! New additions include Grind Rails and Kinetic Blades, along with the new Battle Pass, character collection, and Eren Jaeger skin. It’s a good idea to know how to get XP quickly in Fortnite.
How the Moisty Mire Treasure Map Works
For the week 9 challenges, you have the following task:
- Follow the treasure map in Moisty Mire (1 total, 10 battle stars)
Another one on the list during Week 9 includes searching for Taco Shop locations.
Moisty Mire hides a map that paves the way to a hidden treasure. He note that only those with the Battle Pass will be able to see it, and a diagram of where the treasure can be found appears on the map.
However, you can skip this first step and go directly to the treasure location, as explained later on this page, if you prefer to do so.
As with other challenges, you must complete them while playing matches (you cannot enter the map without other players), so you will have to avoid combat encounters while trying to find each location.

Moisty Mire Treasure Map Location
Moisty Mire is located in the southeast of the map, which is where you will find this specific map that will tell you where to go next. However, you don’t need to go here first. The map, which was pulled from data on the Fortnite subreddit ahead of the weekly update, tells us to locate a house in the forest and then go to a nearby building with two chimneys. This is where we will find the treasure.
Ultimately, you will have to go to the southwest of Retail Row, where there are two houses in the middle of a forest, specifically on the border between G6 and H6.
Of these two houses, look for the one to the north, with the double chimney. Ideally, you should let yourself fall on top of him.
If you’re approaching from the east, you’ll want the house on the right (northmost).
When you find the right place, the treasure will appear on the screen. Use the button that appears on the screen to collect it.
Please note that you must complete the game in order to finish the challenge. Exiting the match as soon as you pick it up won’t work, so make sure you continue.
