The Fortnite Ghost Trap is the final step in the Containment Specialist questline.
After the Mini-puft locations, seismograph locations, and Ghostbusters posters, you’ll need to deploy a single ghost trap somewhere on the map.
Fortunately, there are plenty of locations to deploy one, and we’ll recommend three locations close to each other in case you need some options during a particularly intense match.
Please note that this particular challenge can no longer be completed. What’s new? Chapter 4 Season 2 has arrived! New additions include Grind Rails and Kinetic Blades, along with the new Battle Pass, character collection, and Eren Jaeger skin. It’s a good idea to know how to get XP quickly in Fortnite.
Fortnite Ghost Trap Location: Where to Deploy a Ghost Trap in Fortnite
You can place a ghost trap in a large number of named locations on the map:
It’s important to note that these locations are not 100% accurate, but if you place a marker on the map where the exclamation points point, you will be reasonably close to the location.
To save you the search, here are three Ghost Trap locations in the southeast of the map. You only need to deploy one, but in case the location you start with is full of players, all three locations are connected by road, meaning you can get to the next one in a 30-second drive.
In Misty Meadows, there is a ghost trap located on the bridge in the middle of the location:
At Catty Corner, there is a road that runs through the center of the place. You’ll find it around the bend, just north of the garage:
On Retail Row, there are several stores on the east side of the location. You will find the location of the ghost trap in the parking lot:
