Defeating Wolverine is the sixth Wolverine challenge released in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4. Once you complete this challenge, you will be able to unlock the Weapon X emote and the Wolverine banner.
This set of challenges began with you finding mysterious claw marks, followed by a raid on a Quinjet patrol site, then you found the Wolverine Trophy, then you had to dash towards all the Sentinel Hands without touching the ground, and fifthly, locate the Trask Transport Truck.
Completing all of Wolverine’s challenges will allow you to unlock the special Wolverine skin in Fortnite.
Please note that this particular challenge can no longer be completed. What’s new? Chapter 4 Season 2 has arrived! New additions include Grind Rails and Kinetic Blades, along with the new Battle Pass, character collection, and Eren Jaeger skin. It’s a good idea to know how to get XP quickly in Fortnite.

Wolverine’s location in Fortnite explained
Wolverine is a wandering optional NPC boss fight in Fortnite, meaning he can freely walk around a specific area on the Fortnite map. It also means there is no guarantee that he will be in the same specific spot every game.
The areas where Wolverine roams are Weeping Woods and Slurpy Swamp.
Where you are most likely to find Wolverine.
Finding Wolverine can take a good amount of time, and since there is only one Wolverine per match, keep in mind that another player could have killed him first. If that has happened, you will have to exit and enter a new game to defeat Wolverine.
Wolverine isn’t limited to a specific part of Weeping Woods, so try to do a quick overview of the area, either by cutting or moving quickly from place to place.

However, when it comes to Slurpy Swamp, Wolverine prefers to stay near the sewage plant, so if you can’t find him in Weeping Woods, check out if he’s next to the pipes.
Wolverine can take a walk to the factory.
We recommend looking for Wolverine during the early stages of the map, as you won’t have to worry about the storm and hopefully the Weeping Woods and Slurpy Swamp will be less crowded.

How to defeat Wolverine in Fortnite explained
If you’re not properly prepared, Wolverine can be quite difficult to defeat in Fortnite.
Before you even consider hunting him, you’ll want to collect a couple of powerful weapons, ideally you’ll want at least a shotgun and make sure your shield is as full as possible.
When you’re ready, head to Weeping Woods and Slurpy Swamp to find Wolverine. It might be a good idea to bring a car or choppa, because this will allow you to cover ground faster, increasing your chances of encountering Wolverine.
Once you’ve found the mutant, make sure you’re a good distance away before making your first attack. This way you will be able to deal a good amount of damage as Wolverine gets closer and the battle becomes much more difficult.
Keep a good distance from Wolverine.
We recommend using a shotgun for these first few attacks and then switching to a faster weapon, like an assault rifle, because this should hopefully allow you to hold off a good amount of damage, while staying safe from Wolverine’s clutches.
The moment Wolverine is nearby, make sure to start jumping and dodging his attacks right away, as each of them are quite powerful. This means that if you’re not careful, Wolverine can easily kill you with a couple of hits.
You must keep moving and shooting to defeat Wolverine. If you’re a builder, try creating walls that block his path to give yourself a moment of rest, but don’t be surprised if he manages to knock them down very easily.
You must avoid Wolverine.
You also need to make sure you have completely defeated Wolverine to complete this challenge, so once you have taken Wolverine down, continue shooting him until he dies. You’ll want to do this quickly, because Wolverine can recover from a knockdown stage.
Defeating Wolverine may take a few tries, especially if you encounter other players, but if you keep at it, you’ll eventually beat him!
Completing this challenge will eventually unlock the Wolverine mask.
