The Fortnite Containment Specialist is a new character added to the map as part of a Ghostbusters: Afterlife event.
If you want to begin your mission with the punch card, you must first visit the containment specialist location.
Completing each Containment Specialist punch card challenge will reward you with 30k XP, which will help you unlock more Battle Stars for the Season 8 Battle Pass.

Containment Specialist location and questline explained
The containment specialist is located on Camp Cod, an island in the southeast corner of the map:
If you squint, you can see the blue marker in the bottom right corner.
Specifically, you must visit a building on the south side. It will have “Dirt” written on the side so you know it’s the right place.
Enter from the west side to meet the Containment Specialist.
Talk to them and add their punch card to your quest log to start the event.

Fortnite Ghostbusters: Afterlife Mission Steps
Once you’ve found the containment specialist, the Ghostbusters: Afterlife missions are as follows:
- Deploy seismographs at Misty Meadows or Catty Corner
- Exterminate the mini-Puffs with a pickaxe in Sludgy Swamp, Lazy Lake or Retail Row.
- Recover mechanical parts by destroying cars.
- Place Ghostbusters posters in Holly Hedges, Dirty Docks, or Pleasant Park
- Implement a ghost trap
Once the questline is completed, you’ll unlock the No Ghost backup, which displays the Ghostbusters logo behind you holographically. Worth the effort!
