Fortnite – Coin locations: Where to place coins around the map to obtain the Free Guy emote

Ryan Reynolds has a mission for you. Here’s where to place coins around the map in Fortnite to get the Good Guy emote from Free Guy.

Placing coins around the map is one of the Free Guy themed missions in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7.

In collaboration with the film starring Ryan Reynolds, a new series of missions has arrived that tasks you with getting hit by a moving vehicle, taking melee damage, placing coins around the map, talking to any NPC, and restarting or revive your teammates, or interact with campfires.

We will focus on the least simple of the group. You need to place a total of three coins at key points on the Fortnite map, which sounds daunting but is pretty easy if you know where to look beforehand.

Completing this challenge will not reward you with XP to help you unlock more Battle Stars for the Season 7 Battle Pass. Instead, you will be rewarded with 200 gold bars, as well as being one step closer to unlocking the Good Guy emote. .

Please note that this particular challenge can no longer be completed. What’s new? Chapter 4 Season 2 has arrived! New additions include Grind Rails and Kinetic Blades, along with the new Battle Pass, character collection, and Eren Jaeger skin. It’s a good idea to know how to get XP quickly in Fortnite.

How to start Free Guy missions in Fortnite

If you were looking for Free Guy missions in the missions tab and couldn’t find them, don’t worry, the same thing happened to us. It turns out that you need to interact with an ATM to get them going.

You can find one next to a phone booth in Holly Hatchery:

Interacting with the ATM will activate one quest out of five at a time. If you complete them all, you will be rewarded with the Good Guy emote. Depending on each task, you will be rewarded with gold bars.

The complete list is as follows:

  1. Being hit by a moving vehicle
  2. Take melee damage
  3. Place coins around the map.
  4. Talk to any NPC
  5. Reboot or revive your teammates, or interact with campfires

Remember, you can only track one of them at a time. Once you’ve completed them, you’ll have to start a new game and interact with the ATM again to get the next one, and so on.

Most of the missions are pretty simple, but we will focus on placing coins around the map, as there are several possible locations.

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 is here! Where to place coins around the map in Fortnite

As we mentioned, you only need to place three coins around the map and luckily there are plenty of places to do this, from Misty Meadows to Believer Beach.

Two areas in particular, Believer Beach and Pleasant Park, have two coin placement spots each. We’ve rounded up eight possible locations for you to choose from.

At a glance, you can find the locations below:

Let’s start with Holly Hatchery. You can find a place to place a coin in the northwest corner of the large area in the middle.

At Believer Beach, there is a place that you cannot miss, as it is right at the entrance that leads to the pier.

A second location can be found in the southeast corner of the area, just in the opposite direction from the payphone.

In Craggy Cliffs, there is another one in a corner west of the medium-sized house in the center.

If you are near Pleasant Park, there is a place to place a coin on the opposite side of the gas station to the northeast.

If you head southeast, you’ll find a second location in the area.

Let’s go now to Misty Meadows. There is a place by a fountain in the center of the eastern part of the town.

If you’re near Lazy Lake, you can find a spot on a corner in the northwest part of town.

As with any other challenge of this type, all you have to do is get close enough to any of the aforementioned locations and press the interaction prompt. A shiny coin with the letter ‘F’ will appear.

Repeat this a total of three times and you’ll be good to go. We recommend starting at Pleasant Park or Believer Beach so you can get two coins out of the way and then choose the third spot.

Your reward for completing all five missions is the Good Guy emote, voiced by Ryan Reynolds himself.

That’s all for this mission! Now you can go ahead and complete tasks to talk to any NPC and reset or revive your teammates, or interact with campfires to get the Good Guy emote, which is part of the Free Guy set.

Also, in case you’ve put them off, remember to complete the Rift Tour and Superman missions before they disappear from the game.
