As with previous Fortnite seasons, Epic Games has now released a trailer and a new cinematic trailer confirming several new skins, a new point of interest, a weapon, and much more. Matchmaking is also currently down, so the new season is not far away.

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 Release Date
The Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 update is now available.
A recent tweet from @FortniteState confirms that the release date for Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 is Friday, August 25.

What to expect in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4
It’s launch day and Epic Games has finally given us two trailers that confirm if some of the leaks we’ve heard about on Twitter are true. Some of the information is still under wraps, so you’ll probably have to load it into Fortnite once the new season starts to see it and get more information.
Season name
The official Twitter account @FortniteGame It has already been confirmed that Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 is called Fortnite Last Resort.
Theme/Scenario
The title of one of the recent trailers posted on Twitter by @FortniteGame confirms that Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 is Heist-themed.
This also lends credence to the filtration by @FNChiefAko, that gave more credence to the idea of Chapter 4 Season 4 being Heist-themed. From the battle-ready turrets discreetly disguised as briefcases to the new Rocket Ram weapon, most of the information is related to heists in one way or another.

Weapons
From a title in one of the trailers, we learn of at least two new weapons that we can definitely expect to see in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4. The Rocket Ram and the Shield Launcher.
From the information collected in the Tweet below @FNChiefAkoIt looks like several different mythical weapons may also be available in Chapter 4 Season 4:

Additionally, it looks like a new turret weapon could be on the way.
New points of interest
In this advance posted on Twitter by @FortniteGame, you can see at least one new point of interest in the form of a large mansion. Many still think that this POI will replace The Citadel, but we can’t confirm that yet.
This POI could be the Eclipsed Estate POI we mention below based on information from two reliable Fortnite leakers. @FNChiefAko and @HYPEX.

New bag item
One of the most recent leaks of @HYPEX revealed that there may be a new item in the bag, and @FNChiefAko posted similar information around the same time.
@FNChiefAko revealed that the new item could be called ‘Heist Bag’ and could be a rework of tents or additional storage. We hope it is the latter; You can never really have too much storage.
new vehicle
The title of one of the new trailers showed a new vehicle: a Pizza car. You can see it briefly at minute 0:33.
In a tweet posted by @HYPEXWe’ve learned that there may be other new vehicles to get your hands on in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4. It’s not yet clear if this is a single vehicle skin spread across multiple areas of the map, or if it will just be one. car that appears in one place.
From the leak, it seems that the new vehicle could be called ‘Nitro Fang’.
New skins
The two recent trailers revealed some potential new skins and characters that will be available in Fortnite Last Resort, including Ahsoka Tano. It’s not yet clear if all of the ones seen will be available for purchase or through the battle pass or if some were just for cinematic purposes.
