The Battle Pass is a premium item and costs 950 V-Bucks. You can buy a pack of 1,000 V-Bucks for around £8 / $10 or earn V-Bucks in-game through a variety of activities.

Here’s a list of what’s included with the premium option of the Chapter 2 Battle Pass bundle:

  • Turkish suit against the current
  • Travel suit against danger
  • Rippley vs Sludge outfit
  • Respect the gesture of peace
  • Sky Drag Glider
  • Countercurrent wrapping
  • sip trails
  • Storm Shredder music track
  • 400 V-Bucks

The Chapter 2 Battle Pass Standard Edition will instantly unlock the following:

Cosmetic items and other Battle Pass rewards are unlocked by completing weekly challenges. These challenges can range from using a specific weapon to finding a hidden item on the map, and completing them will help you climb the ranks of the Battle Pass.

How do we get to Chapter 2 of Fortnite?

To really understand how we got to Fortnite Chapter 2, we first need to go back to Season 9.

In the final weeks of season 9, we witnessed the fight between Cattus, the monster that had been trapped beneath Polar Peak, the Mecha, which had been built at the Pressure Plant.

During this fight, the Mecha opened the vault in Loot Lake and recovered a glowing orb. Using this orb and a massive sword, the Mecha defeated Cattus.

Over the next week, the orb, now known as Point Zero, began to crack until, on August 1, it exploded.

This explosion created an antigravity zone in Loot Lake. Shortly after, rift beacons began to appear on the map. These beacons appeared to channel the power radiating from Loot Lake and, when lit, transformed the surrounding area into a location from a previous Fortnite season.

Mega Mall became Retail Row, Titled Town became Gotham City, and Greasy Grove returned, among many others.

The disagreements, however, were not the only time-based shenanigans going on.

Dusty Depot had also returned and, frozen in time above it, was the meteor that had originally destroyed this location. Inside one of the warehouses, computer monitors and symbols referring to the Visitor began to appear.

The Visitor returned.

Throughout season 10, The Visitor had to build a rocket on top of the Dusty Depot, and during the final week of the season, we were able to find voice recordings left by them.

These recordings revealed that The Visitor was part of a group called The Seven and that their mission was to contain Point Zero. However, to do this, The Visitor would have to ‘loop’.

From what we can gather, being ‘looped’ means that The Visitor had to intentionally enter a time loop. This would allow them to stop the Zero Point, but it would also erase the memories of him, meaning that the records we found are from The Visitor to his future self.

The Visitor also mentioned a mysterious ‘They’ who were watching events unfold.

When the Zero Point exploded it created this black hole.

Finally, on October 13, the Final Event occurred.

The rocket at Dusty Depot launched and quickly disappeared into a crevice. He then emerged from the rift above Gotham City and flew across the map, disappearing into the rift near Lonely Lodge.

Then six more rockets appeared from the other rifts, flying around the map and the meteor. Eventually, the rockets created a crack in front of the meteor, which thawed and passed through the crack.

Then a new crack appeared over Loot Lake and a rocket emerged and crashed into the Zero Point. This sent all the players watching flying into the air.

From this height, they were able to watch as the six remaining rockets and the meteor emerged from an even larger crack to collide with Point Zero.

This explosion created a vortex that absorbed the entire island, its inhabitants, and even the lobby.

We were left with the black hole, which emitted a blue light, and a secret message from The Visitor: “I was not alone.” Others were out of the loop. This was not calculated. Nothingness is now inevitable.’

What this means at the moment is a mystery, but it could be solved in Chapter 2 if the hints on the opening screen are anything to go by.
