Fortnite Balloon Locations

Although you need to find 10 locations, fortunately there are many more on the map.

Here are 19 we’ve found so far, more than enough to complete the challenge.

In more detail, the Ballon d’Or locations are:

Tomato Temple, on top of a structure to the northwest:

North edge of the map, west of the river and behind a rock:

Oasis in the desert, on the middle boat:

East of Paradise Palms, on a cart in the middle of a courtyard:

West of Lucky Landing, behind a mountain on the edge of the cliff:

In a cave in the south of the frozen area, it is found by falling through a hole in the middle of some trees and into a hut inside:

Frosty Flights, on a sign in the middle of the runway:

East of Viking Village, at the campfire next to the winding path going down:

Motel east of Junk Junction, inside the sign:

Lonely Lodge, at the base of the tall Ranger Tower to the south:

Dusty Divot, at the south end of the open roof of the central structure:

Haunted Hills, above the roof in the central structure to the west:

Loot Lake, on a boat heading east on the water (next to the E of Loot Lake on the map):

Salty Springs, from a fence at the rear of a house to the northwest:

Southeast of Retail Row, at the back of the bear statue:

Tilted Towers, in the back of a car in the northeast corner (above the second T in Tilted on the map):

At the T-Rex, next to the road in the southeast of the desert area:

East of Wailing Woods, on the truck hanging from a cliff at the very edge of the map:

Northeast of Wailing Woods, above the giant animal structure:

How do you complete Pop Golden Balloons?

For the week 9 challenges, you have the following task:

  • Blast golden balloons (10 total, 10 battle stars)

On the other side of the map are golden balloons. Like finding Chilly Gnomes and Forbidden Locations, these are scattered around the map and aren’t the easiest to find.

Unlike Chilly Gnomes, Golden Balloons do not make any sound when you approach them. But they are easy to spot from a medium distance, especially since they are on top of a piece of rope.

Even with that knowledge, some are very well hidden, so it will be helpful to know the specific locations, which are detailed in the first half of this page.

When you find one, you have to bust it. You can do this by shooting him with a gun or hitting him with your axe. By doing so, it will disappear and be added to your total.

Do this a total of ten times to complete the challenge. As with other challenges, you must complete them while playing matches (you cannot enter the map without other players), so you will have to avoid combat encounters while trying to find each location.

When you’re done, there will be plenty of other challenges to take on this week, so keep playing!
