Using an elevator in Chonker’s Speedway and Command Cavern is one of the seasonal missions in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2.
To complete the challenge, you must first find an elevator in Chonker’s Speedway and Command Cavern. You don’t need to do this in a single match, so don’t worry if a location ends up outside the circle or if you die before using both Ascendants.
Completing this challenge will reward you with 20,000 XP, which will help you unlock new Battle Pass skins.

Where to find Ascend in Command Cavern in Fortnite
To find an Ascendant in Command Cavern, land on or under the IO ship located in the area.
Keep an eye out for the vertical zip lines near the edges of the ship – they are ascending. Press the message and use it when you are close enough to complete the first part of this weekly quest. It doesn’t matter which direction you go, as both directions count as using the Ascendant.
You can also choose to find the Ascendant in Chonker’s Speedway first and then visit Command Cavern. Or you can finish a match and land at the second location, since you don’t need to use both Ascendants in a single match.
You can search the ship for loot before heading towards Chonker’s Speedway, but this will not count towards the weekly challenge of searching chests and ammo boxes at IO Outposts. These are separate buildings that are located at ground level.

Where to find Ascend at Chonker’s Speedway in Fortnite
It’s a little harder to find an Ascendant in Chonker’s Speedway in Fortnite, as there are no IO ships in the area.
To find an elevator in Chonker’s Speedway, head to the northwest corner of the dirt track and look toward the nearby cliff. Continue along the path until you see the Ascendant, near a slight slope in the path.
Use the elevator at Chonker’s Speedway to complete the Week 3 challenge and earn 20,000 XP instantly.
If it’s still inside the circle, you might also want to travel to the nearby Synapse Station, where you can deal damage to opponents and earn another 20,000 XP.
