Lost Friends is one of the first side quests you’ll find in Final Fantasy 7 Remake.
Delivered in Chapter 3, you will have to hunt down three cats that have gone missing in the slums of Sector 7.

How to start the Lost Friends mission in Final Fantasy 7
In Chapter 3, he is introduced to the slums of Sector 7, and as part of that, he is introduced to a number of characters who can help Cloud raise his profile as a mercenary.

To start, head south of the slums and talk to Betty. The search will begin now.

Where to find all cat locations in the Lost Friends mission
There are a total of three cat locations to find in Lost Friends.

When talking to Betty after starting the mission, she will mention a place on the road next to the station.
This is the path to the east, away from the Seventh Heaven. Shortly after you go down, the cat’s location will be on your left.
Interact with the cat to make it run away, crossing it off the list.

When talking to Betty after starting the mission, she will mention a place where there are snacks, such as the Seventh Heaven bar.
The Seventh Heaven bar is where you first met Tifa in the Chapter, and it is Avalanche’s headquarters. You will find it in the northern part of the slums.
As you approach, Tifa will comment that she hears a cat nearby. To find the cat’s location, she climbs the steps to the main entrance of the bar, which will be right next door.
Interact with the cat and, like the others, it will run away.

Interact with the target to make it flee. If this is the last cat you find, you will complete the mission and can choose to fast travel directly back to Betty.
Talk to Betty again for a short scene and the conclusion of the mission.
