How long does it take to get the Platinum Trophy for Final Fantasy 16?
While we don’t know for sure at the time of writing, we estimate that it takes 70-80 hours to earn the Platinum Trophy in Final Fantasy 16. A Famitsu interview with the FF16 development team revealed that the duration of the story is around 35 hours. but completing all the side content would double the completion time to around 70 hours.
Make sure to pet Torgal if you want to get all the trophies!
Since you need to complete the game at least twice (with a match in the New Game Plus ‘Final Fantasy’ mode that is only unlocked after completing the game) and search for collectibles among a large number of combat challenges, Final Fantasy 16 is one of the longest looking Platinum Trophies we’ve seen.
Skipping cutscenes and focusing only on unlocking trophies on your second playthrough can help speed up your trophy hunt.
However, keep in mind that it could be an even longer journey to FF16 Platinum if you decide to complete additional content that doesn’t unlock trophies in your two playthroughs.
Good luck earning the Platinum trophy in Final Fantasy 16!
