This page ranks players by their overall ranking, regardless of their confederation, such as UEFA, CONMEBOL, CONMEBOL, CAF and AFC, allowing you to see the best players in the world at a glance.
However, that shouldn’t be the only determining factor, as confederation and individual standings help you decide which players to choose. Our additional UEFA, CONMEBOL, CONMEBOL, CAF and AFC Confederation rankings can also allow you to narrow down your options further.

We’ve also included FIFA 18 World Cup rankings with and without icons, which, perhaps unsurprisingly, are the best of the current World Cup lineup.
FIFA 18 World Cup Rankings: Top World Cup Players by Overall Rating
Below are the top World Cup players by overall ranking using players from World Cup qualifying teams around the world.
As you can see, many players are “tied” when their ratings are the same. That being said, there are clearly four best players, and even if the players are tied, use their confederation and position to determine the best player to choose for the team you are building.
