Far Cry New Dawn music player locations: How to complete the Audiophile mission

Finding Far Cry New Dawn music player locations is a great way to explore Hope County.

Like Far Cry New Dawn’s photo locations quest, it’s not particularly grueling, but it’s a lovely way to spend the evening, especially if you like to scratch that collectible itch.

Unfortunately, there’s no trophy/achievement for completing this collection, but you’ll get five handy perk points as a reward for your effort in finishing the Audiophile quest.

While you can purchase a map of music player locations through the Cartography office, there are much better things to spend your ethanol on, so here’s our set of Far Cry New Dawn music player locations to help you out. .

To get started, simply grab a music player (any will do) and the side quest will begin.

Finally: While we’ve done our best to keep this spoiler-free, even the locations and notes themselves may contain unwanted spoilers, so proceed with caution if you’re trying to stay spoiler-free!

Far Cry New Dawn Music Player Locations

Note: When we say head east we mean to the right, as if you were looking at the map. For a couple of these you’ll need your grappling hook, and for a few others you’ll need the lockpick, so if you haven’t unlocked it in the perks menu yet, you’d better complete some challenges. Yes, we said “unlock” when we talked about lockpicking. Yes, that was a terrible pun. No, we’re not sorry.

Redler’s Hollow Music Player Location (Grapple required)

Okay, so we say it’s Redler’s Hollow, but it’s actually a little west of that. Head west until you reach the water, turn left and you will soon come to a rusty and worn bridge. A note pinned to the door suggests you go around the back.

Fight, jump out the window and the music player will be yours.

Big Mike’s Dale Music Player Location

East of Big Mike’s Dale, less than 40 meters away, you will hear the music player before you see it. You’ll find it hidden inside a staging bunker, along with a bunch of other stuff too. Enjoy.

Frobisher’s Memory Music Player Location (Grapple required)

Head west up a steep slope and you’ll hear the music… and then realize the player is nowhere to be seen. Annoying, huh?

It turns out that we need to enter from below through a hidden cavern. If you search along the cliff a little east of where it says “Frobisher’s Memory” on the map, you should see a lamp showing you the way (both day and night).

Head there, enter the cave and head to the lit areas where you will find a makeshift bed and a letter from a very salty teenager. Turn right and you’ll see the telltale ropes of a “Hey! Here’s a place to climb!” shelf. Fight and you will find the elusive music player.

Sein Shrine Music Player Location

Easy, this. Head to the Sein Shrine and follow the music. The player is on the ground, hidden (badly) by some wooden boards. Kick them and help yourself.

Tombwater Music Player Location (Lock Lock Required)

Another single. Good. Ish. Head to Tombwater and find this ramshackle cabin. You’ll see (and hear) where the music player is almost immediately, but you’ll need the lockpick perk to get into the room and snag it.

Forgotten Barracks Music Player Location (Locklock Required) Same as Tombwater, you’ll need the Lockpick perk for this. Head to Forgotten Barracks and then to this white tiled dwelling. Inside is a locked room with your music player.

Rotgut Pass Music Player Location (Lock Lock Required)

Rinse repeat! Again, you’ll need the lockpicking perk, and again, you’ll need to head to a building almost completely reclaimed by nature. Enter through the back door and once you have entered the room, the player hides behind the wooden boards; You’ll hear it before you see it, of course.

Fillmore’s Hovel Music Player Location

This one is also hidden in a staging bunker, so you’ll hear it quite a bit before you see it. Take out the thugs and jump down to claim the player.

Surgery’s Place Music Player Location

Although they’re almost completely buried, it should be pretty easy to spot these freight trains (at least, I think they’re trains?) poking out of the hillside. Again, you’ll hear the player before you see them, and again, just kick the boards and take your musical prize.

Bradbury Woods Music Player Location

Head north from Prosperity and you’ll reach Bradbury Woods. Follow the music (now incredibly tedious) and you’ll find this ruined dwelling.

Despite being boarded up, there’s clearly something behind the boards, and it’s even easier to see at night, so knock down those boards and help yourself to the music player… even if it’s just to keep the damn thing from touching the same melody. and again.

And that’s all the Far Cry New Dawn music player locations marked! If you’re looking for more things to collect, our Far Cry New Dawn photo locations can help you.
