If you’re playing the digital edition of Elden Ring, then it’s a great idea to preload the game in preparation for its release.
Elden Ring preload will be available 48 hours before the launch time for your chosen platform in the region where you live. However, before preloading Elden Ring, you should make sure there is enough space for the game on your console or PC.
Thanks to Playstation Size On Twitter we know that the approximate file size for the PS5 preload is 44,928 GB and, for the PS4, between 40 and 45 GB.
While we don’t know the actual file size for PC, Elden Ring’s Steam page says you should have 60GB available for the game.
For Xbox, the preload size is 49 GB.
Remember, no matter what platform you are playing on, the file size will increase as patches are added to Elden Ring.
