Elden Ring best Crystal Tears explained

Finding Elden Ring Crystal Tears will help you increase your chances of survival and allow you to customize your builds and character more than before.

Alongside the Flask of Crimson Tears and the Flask of Cerulean Tears, which increase HP and FP respectively, and require Golden Seeds and Sacred Tears to upgrade, is the Flask of Wondrous Physick, which can be found relatively early.

Although it can only be used once (although it is also replenished after resting at a Place of Grace, as with other flasks), you can customize its properties by equipping different Crystal Tears.

At its most basic, you can consider it an additional healing flask, or you can apply more interesting temporary buffs and effects. Better yet, you can mix two different types of effects at the same time.

This page explains our recommendations for the best Crystal Tears in Elden Ring, so you’ll want to prepare your ideal mix.

Elden Ring Side Quests for Beginners – Side Quests You Need to Do

Opaline Bubbletear Location

This provides a significant one-time damage negation. This basically forms a bubble shield that allows you to withstand a single hit with minimal damage, even attacks that would normally be a single shot.

Ideally, use it before entering a boss fight, although keep in mind that the effect also expires after a certain duration, and while it can save you on the first hit, you won’t be so lucky if you get caught in a combo of an enemy or in one. of those unbearable grips where they cause multiple damage.

Fortunately, the Opaline Bubbletear can be found quite early in Minor Erdtree on the Weeping Peninsula, south of Limgrave. When you first reach the area after the Bridge of Sacrifice, continue until there is a fork in the path where you can turn northwest to higher ground, which will take you south of the Watchtower’s Site of Grace.

From there, continue west and cross a bridge and you will soon reach the Minor Erdtree, which is to the south.

Defeat Erdtree’s avatar in this area and he will drop the Opaline Bubbletear.

Crimsonburst Crystal Tear Location

This gradually regenerates HP over three minutes, and its long duration makes it ideal to have in a boss fight. While regeneration is slow, meaning you’ll still rely on your Crimson Tears to heal properly when you’re dangerously low on health, every little bit helps and is almost capable of negating the effects of the poison.

Also, if you have a buff that deals higher damage at full HP, but you’re around 90%, then you save yourself from having to waste a healing flask to get the buffs.

Fortunately, Crimsonburst Crystal Tear is also obtained by defeating the Erdtree Avatar in the Minor Erdtree of Weeping Peninsula, meaning you get this and Opaline Bubbletear in a single battle.

Greenburst Crystal Teardrop Location

This temporarily increases the speed of stamina recovery. Given how important stamina is in Elden Ring, it will be a major buff, although this is also what the Green Turtle Talisman already does, which you can equip as a permanent buff. However, the option is there in case you want to use your talisman slots for something else.

To obtain this crystal tear, you must go to the Minor Erdtree in Caelid, although you don’t have to venture too far into the region to find it, as it is a short drive from East Limgrave, particularly the Smoldering Church, which is located on the edge from both.

You should be able to see the Minor Erdtree from here, but approach it from the left side to travel to the base of the tree. You’ll encounter some enemies along the way, but Torrent can get past them without a problem.

You’ll have to fight a Putrid Avatar here, a tougher version of the Erdtree Avatar but one that also has an AOE that can inflict Scarlet Rot. Defeat him and you’ll get the Greenburst Crystal Tear.

Twiggy’s Cracked Tear Location

This prevents you from losing your runes when you die. It’s basically like equipping a sacrificial twig in your talisman slot, except that while they are lost after one use, you can reuse it as many times as you want, as long as it’s mixed in with the Wonder Physics Flask.

However, it only lasts three minutes once you’ve used the flask, so if you fall into a surprise ambush after this time, tough luck.

From the Leyndell Outer Wall Battlefield Grace Site, head east to Minor Erdtree to the east.

Fortunately, you don’t have to fight an avatar here, just a small crowd of enemies and their ringleader. Once they are taken care of, the Twiggy Cracked Tear will be at the base of the Minor Erdtree in a stone bowl.

Crimson Bubbletear Location

This grants you a burst of health when your HP is critically low. The healing isn’t much, but it could save your life when an attack leaves you on the brink of death.

However, we warn you that it will not save you if the enemy’s attack is powerful enough to kill you. The effect also lasts a short time after using the flask.

You won’t find this one until much later in the game, in Mountaintops of the Giants. But once you get to this area, the Minor Erdtree you’re looking for is to the east.

From the Grace site overlooking the Snow Valley ruins, there is a narrow bridge to the southeast and the Minor Erdtree to your right. Defeat the Erdtree avatar there to get the Crystal Tear.

Once you’ve decided on a starting class and a starting keepsake item, you first need to figure out how to level up, how to respec, and how to use Ashes of War. Do you need any directions from there? Our Elden Ring walkthrough and Elden Ring boss order can help you know where to go next, but we also recommend looking for Golden Seeds, Sacred Tears, Crystal Tears, Talismans, and some of our top weapon and armor picks. If you are nearing the end of the game, we can help you with the Volcano Manor and Rykard quest, the Haligtree Secret Medallion locations, solving Ordina, the Liturgical Town puzzle, Millicent’s quest, Commander Niall, Morgott, Godskin Duo , Maliketh and Malenia.

Broken Glass Tear Location

A defective and volatile glass tear that explodes after a couple of seconds. It may not seem like a great mix, but it has its naughty uses.

Think of it as a suicide bomb that deals massive holy damage and you may find it a sneaky tactic if you’re involved in PvP. Better yet, you can find two of these broken rips, combining them to deal more than double the damage.

The first Broken Tear can be found in Minor Erdtree southwest of Liurnia, just northwest of the Turned Tower Grace Site. You will have to fight an Erdtree avatar to get it.

The second Broken Tear is located in the Consecrated Snow Field, the secret area west of Mountaintops of the Giants that can only be accessed by using Haligtree’s Secret Medallion following the Latenna the Albinauric quest line.

As visibility is not very good in this area, it is worth getting the map fragment of the area, which will show you the location of the Minor Erdtree, northeast of the Consecrated Inner Snowfield Site of Grace.

Head there and you will eventually find the path blocked by rocks. However, there is an opening further north that will take you to the Minor Erdtree.

Watch out for some spear-wielding enemies along the way and then prepare to fight a putrid avatar to get your crystal tear.

Enjoy experimenting with Crystal Tear combinations!
