‘E3 2022’ schedule guide: All conference dates, times, and streams

At ‘E3 2022’, the annual June conference run takes the strangest turn yet, with the cancellation of E3 itself by ESA organizers, both in person and virtually.

Despite this, most conferences are continuing as usual, meaning we’re still experiencing E3 in all but name. With Geoff Keighley’s Summer Game Fest leading the way, you can try combining the two: Geoffcon? G3? Geoff3? – but to be safe, let’s stick with E3 for another year.

Still, after experimenting with summer conferences at the start of the pandemic, publishers have adopted the usual week-long avalanche of announcements, starting June 9, with companies like Microsoft, Future and also Netflix participating in a series of live broadcasts. .

This page presents you with a complete E3 2022 conference schedule as we know it so far, in chronological order, and will be updated as more events are announced.

As for E3 streaming links, we’ll populate the page with links at each press conference, right when each one is released. As is tradition, most shows will have live texts dedicated to them on the Eurogamer homepage, so if you have any questions, check there – we’ll be happy to have you join us!

E3 2022 conference schedule at a glance

With pandemic-related delays continuing (recent casualties include Breath of the Wild 2 and Starfield being moved to 2023) and some publishers (like EA and Sony) likely not showing at all this June, it’s best to moderate your expectations for what is to come. .

The Microsoft and Bethesda show is always worth seeing.

Despite what will likely be a low-key event, we still have companies like Microsoft and Bethesda preparing a showcase; we’d like to think they’ll have something to fill that Starfield-shaped void on the calendar, and with the new generation now. In full swing, there are bound to be some advancements that will excite people for years to come.

This is when all remaining ‘E3 2022’ conferences are scheduled to go live at a glance.

E3 2022 schedule Conference date (UK) UK Time (BST) EU Time (CEST) US East Coast Time (EDT) US West Coast Time (PDT)
FF7 25th Anniversary Celebration Thursday June 16 23:00 00:00Friday 18:00 15:00

Interactive exhibition of Annapurna 2022 Thursday July 28 20:00 21:00 15:00 12:00

Here are all the conferences that have not yet been broadcast in order, one by one:

Final Fantasy 7 25th Anniversary Celebration: Thursday, June 16

  • United Kingdom: 23:00 (BST)
  • Europe: 12 am – Friday June 17 (CEST)
  • US East Coast: 6 pm (EDT)
  • US West Coast: 3 pm (PDT)

If you want to remember the fact that Final Fantasy 7 is somehow 25 years old and the cruel march of time continues, then Square Enix has the event for you.

Taking place at the same time as the 10 Years of Dragon’s Dogma event (see below), this lasts a mere 10 minutes.

Expect “a first look at all the information on Final Fantasy 7’s 25th anniversary.” Between that and the runtime, it doesn’t give us much room to play, but we’re looking forward to updates on games like the mobile battle royale The First Soldier and the mobile remake of the original Ever Crisis, and hopefully, hopefully! – a first look at FF7 Remake Part Two.

You can see it here:

10 years of Dragon Dogma – Thursday, June 16

  • United Kingdom: 23:00 (BST)
  • Europe: 12 am – Friday June 17 (CEST)
  • US East Coast: 6 pm (EDT)
  • US West Coast: 3 pm (PDT)

This will take place at the same time as Final Fantasy 7’s 25th anniversary celebration (see above) and this was revealed at Monday’s Capcom Showcase.

No news here on what to expect – could it finally be the long-awaited sequel to Dragon’s Dogma? Could? We’ll have to wait and see.

Annapurna Interactive Showcase 2022 – Thursday, July 28

  • UK: 8pm (BST)
  • Europe: 9:00 p.m. (CEST)
  • US East Coast: 3 pm (EDT)
  • US West Coast: 12:00 pm (PDT)

Once again, Annapurna Showcase offers announcements and updates on the projects it publishes.

We’ll likely see more of Falcon Age developer Outer Loop’s next project Thirsty Suitors, while Stories Untold and Observation developer Nocode has a project in the works with the publisher, and perhaps we’ll get a first look.

To give you an idea of the level of announcements we can expect, last year we saw release date confirmation for The Artful Escape and Solar Ash, as well as reveals for the Neon White and Outer Wilds expansion, Eschoes of the Eye.

What has been announced so far at ‘E3 2022’?

As ‘E3’ progresses, we’ll be shuffling through the keynotes that have been streamed and posting links to recaps we’ve published, allowing you to catch up on any announcements in reverse chronological order:

Where are Ubisoft and Nintendo’s ‘E3 2022’ conferences?

If you’ve followed the E3 conferences before, you’ll notice that one of the big three console publishers, Sony, is inconsistent about whether or not it will show up at a summer show. As predicted, they will be holding a State of Play on Thursday, June 2, details of which you can find above.

Ubisoft and Nintendo ought appear again this year (they aired on Saturday and Tuesday respectively), while EA has already confirmed that it will be skipping the summer period entirely.

I hope you enjoy all the different presentations this June!
