Frigibax Locations in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

According to its Pokédex entry, you can locate Frigibax in caves and deep snow areas primarily in and around Glazed Mountain.

Although it is possible to find the small Ice and Dragon type normally wandering around the mountain, it is a very rare spawn. We couldn’t spot any normally on two full trips through the area. Fortunately, there is a very easy way to make Frigibax spawn on Frosting Mountain.

Since it is a dual Ice and Dragon type, eating foods that improve your Dragon encounters will spawn a lot of Frigibax in Frosting Mountain, even at Level 1 Dragon Encounters.

We found groups of Frigibax in almost every corner of the mountain after increasing our encounter power with the Dragon.

This is because most of the spawns in Frosting Mountain are Ice-type, with Frigibax being the only potential Dragon spawn (as far as we know), so increasing your Dragon encounters is almost guaranteed to help you find a bunch. of Frigibax while hunting in the mountains.

You can make your own sandwiches to boost encounters with the Dragon, but we recommend eating the Spicy Potatoes from Medali’s cafeteria for 1,450.

Or the Escalivada at the Go-For-Broke Grill in Cascarrafa for 1,500. If not these restaurants, then eat anything that says “Encounter Power: Dragon.”

Fly to a Pokémon Center on Frosting Mountain, go on a snowy journey, and you’ll soon find plenty of little Frigibax wandering around.

However, to reach its full battle potential, you’ll want to turn Frigibax into Arctibax and then into Baxcalibur.

Our The Teal Mask walkthrough will help you complete the first part of The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC, but make sure you know how to start it first. When visiting Kitakami it is a good idea to know how to get Sinistea, Dipplin and The Loyal Three. Our Pokémon Scarlet and Violet walkthrough can take you through the main campaign, including The First Day of School, Victory Road, Starfall Street, Path of Legends, and, when you’re ready, The Way Home and the final boss. Elsewhere, we can help with the normal gym test secret item menu, version differences, the best scarlet and violet starter, XP farming, shiny Pokémon, and learning to fly, swim, climb, and run. When it comes to individual Pokémon, we can help with Gimmighoul, Ditto, Bellibolt, Pawmot, Scovillain, Frigibax, Brambleghast, Annihilape, Farigiraf, Dudunsparce, Lycanrock, Armarouge, and Ceruledge.

How to evolve Frigibax into Arctibax and Baxcalibur in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

Fortunately, there is no special evolution method to turn a Frigibax into Arctibax and Baxcalibur into Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, so you’ll simply have to level up the traditional way.

You can do this by giving your Frigibax the Lucky Egg to hold, then engaging in normal battles against wild Pokémon or trainers, Auto Battle, or using resources like Rare Candy and EXP Candy of various sizes.

Frigibax will then evolve into Arctibax at level 35,

Artibax then evolves into Baxcalibur at level 54.

For more help on Paldea, we have a walkthrough that includes help with the Starfall Street, Victory Road, and Path of Legends stories.
